    Summary

After his death at the first siege of the Burial Mounds, Wei Wuxian is thrown back in time to when he was nine years old, just before Jiang Fengmian took him to Lotus Pier with its wavering affection and unpayable mountain of debts. He decides to take the second chance he has been offered, to live freely and without regrets.

As it turns out, a life without regrets involves:
    1. Avoiding all attempts to be adopted so you can launch your career as a rogue-cultivating-assassin, while
    2. Juggling a hit-list comprised of the cultivation world’s Who’s Who, and
    3. Desperately missing your not-boyfriend who picked the worst ever timing to confess his undying love for you.

    Murder and mayhem to follow.

Wei Wuxian accidentally summons Hua Cheng in the middle of the Sunshot Campaign.
What would happen if Hua Cheng stood for him?

He halted on his steps and exasperatedly sighed; just when he was about to go back, he heard a deep voice.
"Is this new? The song you played?"
Wei Wuxian immediately turned towards where the voice came and inspected its owner.
There stood a tall man, even taller than Wei Wuxian and mind you Wei Wuxian was pretty tall already!. He wore red embroidered robes and a delicate black sash. His hair was neatly braided and placed on his one shoulder.

Shadow had (mostly) made peace with his death. While it was a bit…disappointing, not being able to talk to Vio or the others anymore, he could live with it (ha) knowing that they were safe. All of this went out the window when Link followed a complete stranger through a portal that reeked of dark magic. Willingly, might he add!

Honestly, you’d think he’d know better than to do that without at least leaving a note for the princess or literally anyone before disappearing with a mysterious person who approached him in the middle of the woods.

    Summary

Papers were strewn everywhere, and several were plastered to the walls, tied together with red thread. Time saw a vast array of increasingly complicated magic rune combinations. Mugs that smelled strongly of coffee were piled onto a small table in a rather impressive tower. Legend was standing at the front of the room, a wild look in his eyes, a stray thread in his hair, and a stack of papers in his hand.

“Ah, Time,” Warriors said with a bright smile from his spot on the floor in front of Legend. “Welcome!”

“... Is everything alright in here?” Time felt compelled to ask.

Legend smacked one of the papers on the wall without breaking eye contact. “I’m gonna solve this fucking thing if it’s the last thing I ever fucking do. Sit down.”

Time liked to think he had decent survival instincts. He sat.

“Oh yeah, everything tries to kill you in our world.”

Of course, it was an exaggeration. They probably meant that there were so many monsters roaming about it seemed like they were constantly under attack. At least, that’s what he had thought. They had all teased the duo, but while Legend spluttered and snarked back at them, the traveller had looked utterly bewildered by their laughter.

    They were joking.

They were supposed to have been joking.

    ...

    They weren’t joking.
