There are no guards inside... and no food either.
However, there was something... far more curious...A child. A Shirai Ryu child, dressed in yellow, carrying a backpack; long hair tied up in a ponytail and big brown eyes frowning and piercing intensely into my own.
For a moment, I thought this odd child was just a hallucination. But after some intense blinking and rubbing eyes, I came to the conclusion the kid was very real.

“Is there something else you want to share?” I lightly pressed, it is unlike Kuai Liang to keep secrets, as he is the one who encourages the most ‘open and honest conversations’. “You know you can tell me anything, right?”
He looks up and straight into my eyes, as if my words had startled him. That’s odd. “I know…” He forces himself to say, “It is nothing, really…”
“Kuai—”
“I am in a relationship. A romantic one.” He bursts out, probably to not waste the wave of courage that must’ve hit momentarily.
Oh… “Oh.”
“Yeah… oh.” He averts his gaze, looking down. Is he embarrassed by it? No, he's not embarrassed.

"I would love to… but I won't, because this rift in our relationship is pushing Kuai Liang away from both of us…" I let my shoulders sag and my chin drop, retreating before things can escalate. "And none of us want to lose him."
"Exactly." Bi-Han murmurs, knowingly or unknowingly mimicking my movements, the shoulders, the chin, he is retreating too.
