Katniss POV pre-epilogue. Peeta has returned to 12 after months of therapy. Dr. Aurelius has introduced him to the concept of "asexuality" and Peeta has decided he needs to keep his and Katniss' relationship platonic because she is not into it.
Katniss knows none of this. But she knows she doesn't like that Peeta doesn't kiss her anymore. Awkwardness ensues.

En la cena organizada por Viserys, después de reafirmar a Lucerys como el heredero de Driftmark, el rey hace una petición un tanto engorrosa a su hija, con el fin de unificar las casas, como última petición para que ambas mujeres junto con sus hijos y nietos retomen la amistad que hace mucho habían perdido.
Todos parecen coincidir en estar en contra de dicha propuesta, hasta que a Aemond se le ocurre abrir la boca, para molestar a su sobrino. Hecho que lamentará después, ya que terminará sellando sus destino uniéndolos para el resto de sus vidas.
O donde Aemond no deja de perder su orgullo tras solicitar la mano de Lucerys.
