Summary
Donnie collided with Leo in a tangle of limbs. There was an instinctive cling in return from his twin, before the realization sunk in.
"No." Leo breathed in his ear, immediately shattered. "No, no, no, no, no!”
Every muscle in Donnie's body was shaking like an earthquake from the amount of effort he'd just expended. The explosion caught up to them, sending the twins spiralling away into space and debris.
For one singular moment, Donnie allowed himself a burst of victory. His heart was still thudding a thousand miles an hour in his chest, having been absolutely terrified he wasn't going to make it in time. But he did. And he held onto Leo, his prize.
Then they hit the ground, the sudden tumble bursting them apart. Donnie felt the world spin, rapid and disorientating, before he slammed into something rock and cracking under his impact.

17/? Donnie followed leo into prison dimension, they spent 9 day there and ate krang dog, made it back by donnie fixing leos broken sword and opening a portal at the same time as the other sword. Don injuries - leg (ankle swollen, leg cut deep, might be infected), shell (ripped into by krang), throat (ripped into by krang, can’t speak well, ribs (broken by krang). Leo injuries - shell fractured, sword broke (idk if that does something to Him), beaten to a pulp by krang (and had to beg for it so his head is prolly fucked up)

Summary
He could feel his pulse.
His brother was alive.
Just as Mikey was about to pull him back, his hand froze mid-air, screaming suddenly filling his ears.
Different voices, voices that belonged to him- his brothers, filled the air, all different kinds and messes of different conversations jumbled together, unable to know what conversation was about what, overwhelming his senses.
Behind the portal, he could see different versions of his family- a shorter Raphael, a beast Leonardo, a crazy Michelangelo, an abusive Splinter, a dead Donatello, all different kinds of stories and worlds.
The worlds closest to the Prison Dimension.
Which world was theirs?
OrAfter the events of the movie, instead of bringing Leo home, Mikey manages to somehow, bring his brother to the 2012 dimension instead.
Now, unable to reach his brothers and his ninpo acting odd, the 2012 crew has to find a way to return the younger Leonardo back home.
While the rise dimension tries to find ways to accept their loss.

Donnie directs a finger to the object encompassing his thoughts. It lays still, dead.

His breathing hitches, unable to keep up with the sudden onslaught of emotions. A person just washed up in front of his eyes, on the worst fucking island in all of New York.
And the most terrible thing about it wasn't the rotting stench that was being emitted or the lifeless corpse sitting right before him.
No, the worst part about it is the blue bandana tied around its thoroughly beaten face.
OR Shortly after the Krang’s invasion, during Donnie, Mikey, and Raph’s group hug, a corpse washes up. (Rude!)
OR 2x The memories of Leo are wiped clean from everybody's head. How will the Hamato family cope from this wacky and silly adventure?
