Summary
A few months after the formation of Hollow Special Operations Section Six, Tsukishiro Yanagi starts to feel concerned - and a little frustrated - about one of her colleagues, who's inexplicably begun taking leave and clocking in late. For his part, Asaba Harumasa is mostly interested in getting his sick leave forms approved by the Deputy Chief.
This is primarily a character study of Harumasa and Yanagi, but there is a Companion Hollow-shaped plot looming in the background.

Watching his father die isn't something Kaeya had ever wanted to experience, nor is crossing swords with his brother. But he experiences it anyway, which is...fine, he supposes.
The problem arises when he begins to live this same exact thing over and over and over.
Alternatively: Kaeya is stuck in a Groundhog Day-style time loop of Diluc's 18th birthday, and there isn't anything he won't do to break it.
