Summary
The boss of the Port Mafia is Dazai Osamu, well-known in the underground circles as a cold, calculating vampire. He has a sharp, handsome face, a grin that could cut glass, and a reputation as the most powerful man in Yokohama, running everything from black market blood deals to pizza shops on the edge of town.
Underneath the façade, he's-- well, he's still cold, he's still calculating, and he's definitely still a vampire. Chuuya Nakahara, his right-hand-man, knows this very well. He's had Dazai's fangs in his neck more than once, actually. It's just another part of his job: he deals with miscreants, he goes to meetings, and he lets his boss drink from the tap when he gets too hungry.
But things escalate when one day, a blood-drunk Dazai grabs him by the collar and kisses him, messy and desperate, the metallic tang of blood mixing through their saliva.
And then things escalated again. And again.
Now, years later, it's their own little ritual. The boss says he's hungry, Chuuya follows him to the nearest couch, and the nearby employees all flee to a different story as fast as they can. It's been going on for ages...
Though this time, things feel just a little different.

Summary
It starts when the Armed Detective Agency decides to adopt a cat. A cute little ginger cat. Whiskers, pink nose, the whole nine yards. But when it's time for Dazai to meet said cat, it turns out that it isn't exactly a cat-- it's his old partner, Chuuya Nakahara, and now everyone has a lot of questions.
Unfortunately for them, Chuuya has no answers, except for a vague memory of trying to track down a rogue smuggling organisation. He remembers following someone down a dark alley, but not much after that, and then he woke up with paws and a tail. Well, everyone gets unlucky sometimes.
So now, Chuuya has to go and kill the guy who did this to him. Otherwise, he'll have to spend his whole life as a cute little cat. But that begs the question-- if Chuuya can't go anywhere without Dazai around to keep him human, how is he going to track them down?
Well, they'll do it together. Hopefully this won't dig up any long-buried romantic feelings!
. . . oh, and what do we do about the beds?
Just a cute little fic I wrote to make myself feel better and dig myself out of a slump. The plot is silly and goofy, but I ended up really liking it! I hope if you decide to read it, you'll like it too! ^^

Dazai Osmau hated Chuuya Nakahara. Hated him with every fiber of his being. Chuuya Nakahara was no man. Chuuya Nakahara was a monster. A heartless monster. Like a rabid dog. Who only cared about himself and the Port Mafia. And tragically, Dazai.
“Osamu, don’t make me angry. I thought you said you hated it when I was aggressive. So don’t make me have to be, or you’ll be bleeding everywhere tomorrow.”
The dog barks. Barks truths. The dog is cruel like that. It hated those it claims to love. It abuses them, makes snow white skin turn black and blue. Staining it red. Gentle hands made to kill, gentle hands made to hurt. Calloused, scarred, no matter how hard you claw and bite and scream. No matter what. The dog gets you. And when it gets you, nothing can ever go back to being the same.
“Please don’t, the mess would take ages to clean.”
Dazai Osamu hates dogs.

If there was a word to describe Chuuya Nakahara, it was cruel. Heartless. Cold. A monster wearing a human's skin.
