Exactly what it says on the tin. Before I even knew what shipping was I shipped Troi/Riker and Picard/Crusher, and one day Twitter did the thing and got me thinking about how TedBecca could fit into the roles of Picard/Crusher and then I wrote a scene from Encounter at Farpoint with Rebecca as Captain and Ted as CMO.

"You don’t mind, do you? I try not to miss a game if I can help it.”
He raises an eyebrow at her in surprise. “No kidding. You didn’t really, y’know, strike me as the type.”
“The type to enjoy America’s favorite pastime?” Her tone was doing that sing-song thing he was starting to realize was the way she teased, leading the other person to realize how phenomenally stupid their question actually was. “Everyone likes baseball, Lieutenant.”
He huffs out a laugh. “Well yeah, but you’re, y’know–” She half-turns in the passenger seat next to him, watching him with an expression he’s seen in interrogation more than once, the one that she pastes on while their suspect talks themselves into a corner. On the receiving end of it now, he’d say just about anything to get her to stop looking at him like that. He reaches for his coffee and takes a healthy swig, avoiding her eyes. “Never mind, Captain.”
