It’s unfair that Steve and all of his mindless bravery of charging ahead in every situation are still standing today, while Eddie…Eddie who hid behind his fearless bravado but twitched at a slight sound and shivered with his whole body, who promised Steve to not be a hero but made a bait out of himself to distract enemies away for their plan to work is gone. It’s unfair how unfortunate Eddie was, to die on his first encounter against the upside down, while Steve manages to escape it time and time again.
OR: Steve time travels to save Eddie. He falls in love.
