Summary
His voice leaves him when the scent of Felix's blood, strong and warm and sweet, hits him, and his other hand, which had been reaching for a paper towel, halts. Vampire blood doesn't hold the same richness human blood holds; it's slightly more watery, darker, and thin strings of black flow through it. It shouldn't attract Minho's attention, shouldn't make his instincts spike — yet, he can feel his fangs yearn to sink into the soft skin of Felix's hand, to press his nose against the younger's palm as he drinks, his scent fully enveloping all of Minho's senses.
When Hyunjin complains about the scent of his supper, Minho doesn't think much of it. At best, he'll have forgotten it by tomorrow, and at worst, he'll have forgotten his complaints once hunger hits. When Felix mentions not being able to finish his feeding, Minho chooses to ignore it. It's strange that it happened twice, that's that.
But then his own body refuses to drink, and coincidences turn into reasons to worry.
And then, as if it wasn't bad enough already, his own fledglings suddenly smell enticing, and Minho finds that it's harder and harder to resist his most primal instincts.

Summary
"Hello? Is this Doongie-ya's father?"
Minho paused. "It is… " he muttered quietly, a little skeptical about what was to come after.
"Ah, can you come to the school to pick your children up? We need to talk to you—"
Minho felt guilt streak his world black as words fell from his mouth before he could stop them. "I have a work meeting today, around that time."
"Sir, it's… important. It's regarding Doongie-ya's behavior, and partly about Dori-ya too."
Minho froze, his hand pinching the bridge of his nose. It was the first call he had received, or maybe the first call he had even picked up. He used to get these calls before, about his sons getting out of line from time to time, and relentless complaints from other parents that he just let his phone spew as he worked.
Or: Minho's a workaholic who doesn't realize how much his relationship with his kids has deteriorated until he gets a call from his kids' teachers. With their help, he is able to deconstruct the wall that had been built - however, the wall between him and his children wasn't the only wall that was lowered.
