The monitor's rapid beeping mirrored Johnny’s hammering heart. “Hi.” The voice sounded small even to Johnny, easily swallowed up in the vast large space. “Make a wish?” He attempted to joke.

Summary
Johnny tied the bandage off, tight enough that it won’t slip but not tight enough to lose circulation. “I’ll strike a deal with you Sir Parker. I am a very forgiving man so I won’t report this to your king, if you tell me what exactly it is you are doing and allow me to assist you as well.”
“What do you gain from helping me?” Peter asked, eyes piercing through Johnny, face hardened as if prepared for war.
Johnny simply smiles because there wasn’t much to it, “Whether it is my kingdom or not, I do not wish for any to suffer. If your mission is to alleviate that pain then that is a noble cause I can get behind.”
Bit by bit tension eased out of Peter, his gaze cast to the side, Johnny ached to catch it again. “Right.” He said, resigned. “I’ve learnt to recognize when I’ve been cornered.”
Johnny’s smile transitions into a much more playful and sly one. “That’s the makings of a bad politician. If your heart is still beating then you can still argue.”
There’s a quiet up turn to Peter’s lips, “Maybe if you’re a prince.”

In hindsight Peter should’ve really expected this.
Really. In their decade of friendship, of pretending to hate each other but being absolutely horrible at it, this was naturally the next step.
But of course it still shocked Peter when it happened. Can you blame him for that though? It was like a lightswitch. No gradual decline, no argument, not even an odd comment to clue Peter in to the psychological warfare Johnny was planning.---
In which in trying to get in Peter's pants Johnny lands a spot in his heart. Not that he's complaining.

Holy shit.
Johnny doesn’t think he’s ever wanted to suck off a man more in his life.
Spider-Man stood above him. Muscles flexed as he held a semi-truck above his head, the cause of Johnny being stuck in this mess in the first place. Not that Johnny’s complaining– no, he’s definitely drinking in the sight above him.
Johnny has always had a thing about getting saved, rarely is he thrust into a scenario where he needs to be at someone's mercy and is forced to depend on them– such as now, where if Johnny flamed on he’d blow up the oil in the tank leveling an entire New York block– but when it happens it makes Johnny instantly weak in the knees, if he weren’t already on the cracked concrete ground best believe he’d sink to his knees willingly anyways.
“Hey, Flamebrain!” Peter pants, arms straining as his legs lock, spandex hiding absolutely nothing from Johnny’s imagination. “I swear if you don’t move I’ll let this thing crush the both of us!”
Right. Johnny still has a job to do.

The day after Johnny kissed him on top of the Statue of Liberty, Spider-Man disappeared. One year later, multimillionaire-in-the-making Peter Parker launches a company with his best friend, Harry Osborn. The last thing he needs is a complication like Johnny. But what was meant to be a one-night stand quickly spirals into something else, and everything is further turned upside-down when mysterious portals to another universe appear and they learn that there are two constants in the life of Johnny Storm: Peter Parker, and being left behind.
Johnny didn’t remember how it happened, or where he’d found the nerve. He remembered Spider-Man complaining about something, waving one hand, animated, over burgers and fries atop the Statue of Liberty. He remembered how soft Spider-Man’s lips had been, the indignant squawk that had come with him dropping his burger right off the statue, how his mouth had tasted of cheese and beef and onions, and Johnny hadn’t cared.
