Summary
Hanazawa Teruki is miserable and bored. At the age of sixteen, he has everything he could ever wish for. He comes from a rich family, goes to a fancy private high school and rubs shoulders with only the best of the best.
And yet, something is missing from his life.
In a moment of boredom, he makes a bet with his friends that he’d be able to charm anyone with his charisma alone and get them to kiss him without making the first move. When his friends point him to a random guy passing them by, he doesn’t expect much trouble.
Too bad Kageyama Shigeo isn’t at all what he’d expected. And he might just have to learn to be a bit of a better person before he can get anywhere with him.

Summary
Vi can’t quite catch her breath. Her heart crashed against her ribcage over and over. The kid braced on Jinx sits up slowly, her fingers loosely grasping at the teenager’s shoulders before stilling. The kid turned to look at her.
It was then that Vi saw the blood splattered against her face. The wide golden eyes, hollow and dim. The kid's lips twitch as if she wanted to say something, only managing a stifled whimper.
It was as if time slowed as Vi traded her gaze to look at Jinx.

Summary
They tell him he’s dying, that there is no cure or treatment, no options but to make him comfortable to try to treat the symptoms and pain, and then they keep him from his work for another week in the hospital. They have given him six months as the maximum, six months to get his affairs in order, six months to finish his life’s work.
Viktor wonders if it might be worth it to tell him, at least it’s unlikely the embarrassment will kill him before he drowns in his own blood. Only after a death sentence could he even consider it, but he also knows that Jayce might not come back at all if he were to tell him, that he might leave and that Viktor might not even be promised these final months with him. Better to have this, he thinks, the promise of this moment, than to risk losing it all for only a possibility of more.
