Summary
Natsuki Subaru's torment never ended, it only briefly stopped. Subaru by the skin of his teeth managed to escape the Dungeon and go onto live an isolated life in the countryside. The memory of who he was as a person now lost to time and some of his abilities permanently broken due to the torture.
But their is no rest for the former Hero of Lugunica
Attempts to contain the Witch of Envy's influence have been in vain as the witch cult continued to advance, the capital falls to the witch cult and Reinhardt is no more. With the capital having been forsaken to the Witch cult and going into permanent Anarchy Subaru travels there to put an end to the Witch cult once and for all.
Despite having been forsaken by his former friends, tortured by the kingdom he once protected, Subaru will always be a knight through and through.
The Witch cult cannot be allowed to advance further and Subaru shall ensure it through Blood.
