Flat Escardos, one of Lord El-Melloi II's more unhinged apprentices, rushes off to Fuyuki City in the hopes of joining the Fifth Holy Grail War, the latest in a series of conflicts that brings together the mightiest of history's heroes to fight for a miraculous wish.
However, neither the Grail War he finds himself a part of nor the chaotic rrat he summons are quite what he's expecting, nor is he the only one caught unawares.
Utsumi Erice finds herself in a Japan that is not the one she's familiar with, and only the appearance of Death's own apprentice saves her from a lonely demise.
As the HoloGrail War draws in an increasingly unlikely set of participants, Fuyuki City finds itself embroiled in more magic, more collabs, and more seiso antics than ever before.
