  Summary

  When Clark pulled up in front of Jason, hovering close by but not on top of him, his heart broke a little when Jason visibly flinched. Clark hadn’t been going very fast so it wasn’t because of a sudden appearance of him. This was something deeper. Something he caused. Something he wasn’t sure he’d be able to fix that night. “I know you’re supposed to be patrolling, but can we talk?” Clark asked quietly. “I won’t take up too much of your time.”
