Summary
Dan Howell, a semi-successful contributor and one-time model for Attitude magazine is, by all accounts, struggling. So when one of his oldest friends calls with a promise of familiarity and warmth in exchange for help running their hometown community theater’s production of It’s a Wonderful Life, Dan agrees without a second thought. But the past has a way of resurfacing, and it seems like everywhere Dan turns, there is Phil Lester—his old almost-lover, now the local weatherman.

Phil had been good. He’d been funny and entertaining, and he’d tied Dan’s cheap-ass garter on his gorgeously plush thigh without so much as a wayward nip to the skin that was all but begging for it. Now, the sweet smell of baked goods is wafting through the air, and there's something edible on the kitchen counter, and the end screen is filmed, and Phil is no longer interested in being good.
