“Do you know what’s going on?”
Hershel tries for a smile and adjusts his hat- the smile wavering when he fixes the blue paperboy cap upon his head. It’s odd to be without his signature top hat, and even odder to see himself on the couch wearing it. “I haven’t a clue, my boy.”
“Is it magic?” The little boy, now in Hershel’s body, can’t seem to sit still. He fidgets with his sleeves, with his collar, with any piece of lint that he can find to pick at on Hershel’s orange sweater. It must be quite the sight, if anyone that knew Hershel were to be in the room with them. As luck would have it, however, the incident occurred after his last lecture, while the two were winding down in the professor’s office.
“I’m not sure. It certainly seems to be.”
Hershel isn’t quite sure what happened. One moment he was grading papers, and the next he was on the other side of the couch in Luke’s body.
