Summary
After completing her magical eduction, travelling the world in an attempt to flee her painful past, and getting a BA in Archaeology and Egyptology, Hermione has been happily working as a Wizarding Archaeologist for over a year now. Being part of Cairo's magical community, working her dream job; the new life Hermione has created for herself suits her. When the North-African Archaeological Wizarding Society is in desperate need of a new Curse-Breaker however, someone from her past forcibly re-enters Hermione's life. Begrudgingly forced to work together with none other than Severus Snape, the new colleagues end up unearthing a powerful ancient Egyptian spell. Their discovery could change lives - change the world even, but also put both their lives in danger.

Summary
Thirteen years after leaving Hogwarts, Hermione Granger is Not Okay. Her relationship with Ron has crumbled. She's burnt out and quit the Auror Office. She still hasn't been able to find her parents to reverse their memory spell, and all her money has gone on a probably-repossessed house and a wedding which will never happen. Harry and Ginny would let her stay on their sofa forever, of course, but they have a new baby, and Hermione has enough trouble sleeping. So she's left with one, final, awful choice - to go to the only place she knows she can't be turned away: the house of the insufferable man whose life she saved the day Voldemort died - Severus Snape.
Snape is, shall we say, not pleased with this turn of events.

Summary
Hermione Granger was unfazed by accusations that she was wasting her potential as a social worker, attending to the magical elderly. She'd been underestimated before. As it happened, those who thought that big bad Dark Wizards like Voldemort and Grindelwald were the only type of threat to the wizarding world simply weren't thinking broadly enough. Eventual HG/SS.
Rating is for language. No lemons. Without the language, I'd say this is kinda PG-13.
