She gets just past the first knuckle before it becomes too much and she pulls them both out with a quiet sob, abdomen going tight and rim aching at the stretch. “It doesn’t fit,” she says, frustrated beyond belief, “it’s not– the second one still isn’t fitting.”
Seungmin, alone in the house and fed up with her own body, gives her boyfriend a call.

Seungmin thinks he’s going to puke, like actually.
“Uh, what did Jisung or Changbin hyung say to that?” Seungmin is sure he does not look stoic or unbothered in the least. He knows his face has gone pale, can see that Yeonjun wants to reach over and take his hand. Oh fuck. It’s gonna be bad. It’s going to make him burst into tears. He’s okay. He’s okay it doesn’t matter what they say. Changbin always asks him to hang out. Changbin likes him, and so does Jisung, and they are friends with Minho and Minho is just ranting about Seungmin they won’t say anything too bad.
“They just laughed.”

Summary
Seungmin retorts, “You seem close with your advisor.”
“I am,” the king admits, his gaze boring into Seungmin’s. The king can openly admit to such a thing, almost boasting. And if Seungmin did the same he’d be dragged out and thrown to the dogs. But at least he can assume that the king won’t try to touch him beyond tonight. “You know to be discreet, of course,” he says off-handedly.
Seungmin whips his neck over to the king, incredulous, hardly daring to believe his ears. “I—I beg your pardon?” he grits out.
Or: Seungmin and Minho are unhappily married, and very happily in love with other people. They come to an agreement.

Summary
"Why?" Minho wails. "Why does it always have to be you?” He embarrassingly sobs under Chan’s stupefied silence. “W-Why are you always the one getting hurt?”
Spikes build inside Chan’s throat. He opens his mouth, but nothing manages to come out. Tears burn at his eyes and cries scratch at his ribs. It’s something, to be hurt because of the persistent hate he gets on a daily basis, but it’s something else, to watch someone he deeply cares about hurt in his stead because of it. To have a friend break down in front of him because of how much they hurt for him.
Pain and rage burn raw in Minho's eyes. “What about their apology to you?”
“I’m okay.” Chan begs, as if managing to convince Minho will make it true. “Hyung’s fine.”
