The workbench itself is unimpressive, with edges smoothed after years of use and stray paint dotting its surface. Despite that, the thing on the workbench is one of the most intricate pieces of technology Juno's ever handled."

Mars had become a green world.
Centuries after the migration of all humans to a terraformed Mars, scientists aimed to look back into the lost decades of human history to rediscover their past and inform their future. Juno's dad, Edward Wilde died on the Leto III trying to reconnect Mars to an ancient lunar base millions of miles away. Now, an eighteen-year-old Juno has to confront the same fate as her dad, veering off course and entering a world with life spilling out from the rubble of a once-broken world.
