Summary
When he sees him out in the fields offering one helping hand and the happy hum of his voice singing for the tired workers, when he is splayed over the grass that still holds dew on an early morning, wrestled down by several kids and so content by his defeat as small heads lay upon his chest; Wolfwood forgets about the look that haunts his eyes alone in their shared room, unspoken years wandering without a pin on the map to land on and the unfinished letters he keeps crumpled in a duffel bag. With the depth of his shape Vash had carved into Hopeland, Wolfwood forgets that Vash does not belong to this type of life and he too, will eventually leave.
Wolfwood has been waiting for his brother all his life. Vash has been chasing after his brother for even longer. Both deal with it in different ways. Alternatively: At the end of a perpetual journey, and how to live in a home.

In static-filled memories Vash holds, on scraps of papers between the pages of the book even without the grand tree he once found solace under, the Eden made by the hands of one half of the mirror behind the shade of mountains is smaller, quieter. The hills seem closer, the world that is wrapped around his figure is tranquil and painted in blooming verdant, young and ancient becoming at the same pocket of time.
