Feeling his heart shatter like that of bone with a sword through it. Mikoto giving him a hug. Mikoto's last words, not for him. For Anna. Feeling Mikoto's last breath, and the dead weight of him. A silver sword dripping in red blood."

Summary
Chan's breathing is shaky. He's honestly feeling a little overwhelmed right now, too, but not because of any of the negative emotions Minho is referring to. Rather than that, it's because of the swirl of warmth in his belly from Minho's touches as well as from the notion that Minho had worried about him. That Minho is familiar enough with Chan's insecurities and complexes that he knows Chan could have possibly been affected by this. Suddenly, Chan has to blink moisture out of his eyes. “I swear I'm fine,” he manages. He whines and jolts when Minho finds a particularly sore spot on his lower back. “Really. I know you love me. I know.”
Minho is silent for a while. He focuses his ministrations on that same tender knot low on Chan's back, right above the waistband of his underwear. Chan is practically panting, squirming against the sheets. “I'm going to show you how much,” Minho says, and before Chan can even begin to consider what he means, Minho grinds down, the hard line of his dick sliding right between Chan's asscheeks, and Chan's brain liquefies.

he feels it all, so much, all at once. he thinks he could cry at this moment, standing face upturned, watching snow glide through streetlights through bleary eyes, body loose with the type of apathy that comes with so, so, so much exhaustion. it takes everything he has to stop himself from falling face first into a snow bank and laying there until he falls asleep, dies, or both of those in succession.

“What do you think? Am I just wasting my time sitting here?” The words spill from Chan’s mouth before he’s able to think them through.
The waiter seems slightly taken aback by the question. And if he’s being honest, Chan doesn’t know why he asked it in the first place. Whatever he responds with, it’ll probably just make him feel worse. He thinks about backtracking, but before he’s able to, a smug smile settles over the waiter’s face.
“I think you’re too pretty to be waiting for a guy who’s clearly not coming,” he says casually, the smile not leaving his face for a second, even when Chan chokes on his spit. If anything, it seems to widen as Chan frantically coughs, turning away from the other to save himself from further embarrassment. “I- What?”

Chan's date doesn't show up, leaving him to wallow in self-pity, until Hyunjin shows up to sweep him off his feet. They go on an impromptu date, and Chan learns a lot about himself.
