Chapter Text

Hello all, welcome to the second part of the series. For any one who is seeing this for the first time hello you might want to read the first part of the series before starting this. If you're seeing this and wondering what's going on I'm still currently working on the first chapter of this story and it will be out soon.

I hope everyone is excited for some wholesome, angst and silly scenarios waiting to come. I know I am and can't wait for you all to see it!

For now that's all I have to say. First chapter will be out when it's ready ^^ bye~

Chapter Text

At the New York sanctum Doctor Strange was in one of the libraries reading one of the many books. He turned the page of said book beginning to read the start of the next paragraph. Eyes scanning through each word written on the page until he came across a familiar word in one of the sentences.

He blinked confused for a moment “What? No, that can’t be talking about Aiden and Pastel’s species.” Shrugging it off he continues to read the sentence.

Doctor Strange closed the book not wanting to read more. It was clear that the creatures in the book were the imperial dragons from Thor’s planet Asgard. He puts a hand to his head wiping away a few sweat drops “I can’t believe this. How is this possible? Thor said that the imps were only found on Asgard, how’d they come to Earth?!” With that he began his search in the library to find more information about the imps on Earth meeting the past masters of the mystic arts.

“Well it seems that spring is officially here as the cherry blossom trees are beginning to bloom around New York.” The news reporter on the TV said as she stood in front of a couple cherry trees. Pastel marveled at the beautiful pink trees on the screen, small orbs of light surrounding her in excitement. Standing up she calls “Mama! Papa! Can we go see the cherry trees like on TV!” Her stubby tail wagging.

Jordie walks into the living room with Bucky coming not too far behind her. She looks to the T.V seeing the shot of the pink trees. “Oh yeah, the cherry blossoms I loved seeing them when I was little.”

“Can we go please.” Pastel begs

Jordie gives a worried look “I don’t know honey, there will be a lot of people coming and the risk of you and Aiden being seen.” As she explains, pastel's ears slowly drop down and a frown appears with her upset. Bucky places a hand upon his wife’s shoulder “Hold on honey, what if we invite Peter and Morgan. With them around people could just assume the imps are toys.”

Shadow then comes out “I say we go with this plan. I want to see these cherry trees.”

Jordie places a hand to her chin “I guess that could work.” a small smile on her face. Hearing that Pastel smiles “So we can go?”

“Yes we can go sweetie. But you have to promise not to move unless we say or when no one else is around okay.”

Pastel crosses her heart “I promise mama, cross my heart.”

“Good.” Jordie reaches down petting her daughter upon her head “Make sure you let Aiden know, once he wakes up.”

“I will.”

Smiling Jordie turns to Bucky “Guess I’ll pack some food for our outing. Think you can call Steve and ask him about Peter?”

“I’m on it.” He replies by giving a quick kiss on her cheek before taking the home phone to call his friend.

“Shadow, mind helping me make sandwiches?”

“I’d be delighted!”

Over at the penthouse, Peter was enjoying his morning eating breakfast with his dads. All quiet as they ate until Tony’s phone began to ring, setting his fork down he takes his phone out from his pocket seeing that Stephan was calling. “Stephan? Wonder why he’s calling , excuse me my dears.” Getting out from his chair he answers “Hello, what’s with the sudden call Strange?” Stepping away to talk in private.

“Wonder what that’s about?” Peter questions

Steve gives a shrug taking another bite of his food “Could be anything coming to Strange.” His phone then starts to ring, taking it out he sees that Bucky was calling. Accepting the call he answers “Hey Bucky, what’s up?” Peter listens to the conversation as he eats.

“Peter? Yeah I’ll ask him.” Pulling the phone away from his ear “Bucky and Jordie would like to know if you’d like to come with them and the imps to see the cherry trees.”

Peter thinks to himself ‘It is a nice day out and all the kids from school were talking about the cherry trees, I might even see Ned and MJ there.’ Looking up to his dad he gives a slight nod “Sure I don’t mind, it’ll be fun.”

Steve goes back to his phone “He said he doesn’t mind.” He goes quiet listening to Bucky on the other end “Morgan? I’ll have to ask Tony, since she’s at Pepper’s this weekend.” More moments of silence continue before Steve says “Alright, I’ll let you know. Bye buddy.” Hanging up the phone.

Tony’s footsteps were heard coming back to the table finishing up the conversation “Okay… Okay Stephan I’ll call her and tell her you want to talk with her. Alright bye.” He gives a frustrated sigh hanging up.

“What did Dr. Strange want dad?”

Tony sits back down in his chair explaining “He wants me to tell Jordan to stop by the sanctum, something important, won’t tell me though.” Picking his fork back up to eat his breakfast. Peter’s eyes grew wide with excitement “Can I go too? Me and her can stop there before seeing the cherry trees.” Raising a brow, Tony questions “Cherry trees?”

Steve swallows the food in his mouth to give his husband an answer “They’re going to see the cherry blossom trees with Pastel and Aiden. Not wanting to look suspicious are inviting Peter and Morgan. Had to tell him I had to check in with you about Morgan since she’s at Pepper’s.”

“Yeah dad it’ll be fun. My friends and other kids at school were talking about them and they might be there.”

Tony looks between Steve and Peter letting out a soft breath “I’m fine with the cherry trees and I’ll see if Pepper is okay with Morgan joining.” Giving a stern look to Peter he continues “The Doctor Strange situation is a no.”

A frown instantly came to Peter “Aw, why dad!”

“Because it’s between him and Jordan only. You don’t need to know everything that’s going on kiddo. Now let’s finish breakfast and I’ll call Pepper about Morgan.”

Once the time came around Peter met with his family in the car Happy drove to pick them up asked by Tony. “Hi everyone.” He greets with a smile closing the door behind him.

“Hi Peter.” Jordie waves

“Hey Pete.”

Shadow comes out from Jordie “Hello Peter.” She smiles with a toothy grin.

Though he noticed Pastel with a frown upon her face, Aiden by her side comforting her. Peter sits down next to her “What’s wrong Pastel? Aren’t you excited to see the trees?” He asks, the little imp remained silent, not giving an answer.

“She’s upset that Doctor Strange is having me visit him.” Jordie answers

“Oh, so dad talked with you about it.”

His aunt nods in response “Yeah and I can’t get out of it. Shadow’s pretty mad about it too.” The symbiote gives a growl “Curse that Doctor Strange! If he wasn’t a good guy, I’d eat him for this!”

“It’s not going to be fun without mama.” Pastel finally says.

Peter places a hand upon her head giving a gentle rub “Don’t worry, it’ll be okay Pastel. Me, Bucky, Aiden and Morgan will be there to make it just as fun.”

“Plus it will only be for a short time, then mama and Shadow will be back with us.” Bucky joins with a warm smile.

The frown on Pastel slowly turns into a smile before turning towards Jordie “You promise mama?” She asks

“I promise, cross my heart.” She replies by crossing a ‘X’ over her heart.

The car then stops “Alright, we’re at your stop Jordan.” Happy says from the front. Jordie takes a breath before looking back at her family and hugging each of them, Peter included. “Bye everyone. I’ll meet you at the Cherry blossoms after I’m done.”

“Bye.”

“Bye-bye mama.”

“See you soon honey.”

Jordie places a hand onto the car door handle, opening it and stepping out. Once it closed the imp siblings watched as she walked up to the sanctum until she was finally inside out of sight. With her safely inside Happy put the car in drive and drove off to the next destination.

Once arriving at the cherry tree locations Peter and Bucky get out of the car each carrying one of the imps. Taking out his phone seeing a text from Tony, Peter looks to Bucky “Okay, dad texted me that Morgan and Pepper are waiting at the entrance.”

“Got it.” Bucky replied before looking down at Aiden in his arms “Now you remember the promise Aiden?” He asks

The little imp nods “yeah. Pastel remembers to.” He whispered

“Good.”

Getting closer to the entrance Peter notices Pepper with her light blonde hair with Morgan by her side. The young girl excitedly waves noticing Peter and the rest coming their way.

“Peter!” She squeals happily, hugging his leg. Peter gave a light chuckle smiling using his free hand to pet the top of her head “hey Morgan.” Morgan then reaches only up to Pastel’s front leg giving light pats on her pink armor “Hi Pastel.” She greets. Seeing that there were people around Pastel only gives a whisper “Hi Morgan.”

Morgan giggles before going over to Bucky and saying hi to Aiden and her uncle.

“I'm guessing Jordan is already with doctor Strange right?” Pepper asks.

“Yeah, but she said she’ll be back once she's done with whatever Doctor Strange wants her for.” Peter answers to give more hope for Pastel.

“Knowing how impatient Shadow can be, it probably won't be long, “ Pepper jokes. She then squats down hugging Morgan goodbye “You promise to be a good girl and do what Bucky says?” “Uhuh.”

“Okay. I’ll come pick you up once you're done sweetie.” Kissing her cheek, Pepper stands back up looking between Peter and Bucky “Have a good time fellas.” The two couldn't help but get chills down their spines feeling like that wasn't just wishful thinking.

Pepper walks off into the crowd leaving. While the little group walks through the entrance to find a spot hopefully far enough away from the other people in the park.

At the sanctum Jordie was sitting down at a table with multiple books around her. Feeling a little awkward as she fiddled with her fingers. “Ummm Doctor Strange have you found all the books you need yet?!” She calls.

“Just about done.” He answers appearing on the other side of the table with a book in his hand. Jordie jumps a little surprised, giving a breath “I forget that you're able to do that.”

“Everyone, does don't worry about it.”

“So… Why do you want me here today?”

Shadow comes out with a growl in her voice “It better be quick!”

“Don't worry Shadow it will be.” He assures placing the book down on the table open to a page showing an old image of an imperial dragon “I’d just like to show you something I found about Pastel and Aiden’s history.”

Jordie was in shock as she moved the book to the front of her. Hand lightly caressing the picture of the imp. “Jordie your heart is beating faster, you should calm down.” Shadow says concerned. “I'm sorry Shadow.. this is just so unbelievable to see. Why are you showing me Doctor Strange? Shouldn't you show Tony or Thor?”

“I'm showing you because you are the one who found Pastel and Aiden when they were eggs. I figured as their adopted mother you'd want to know first.” Strange explains as he walks around the table with another book in his hand.

She nods her head in response “Well you have a point there. Please tell me what you know so far, Doctor Strange.”

“I’d be glad to.”

At the cherry blossom festival, Peter and Bucky were able to find a spot far enough from the views of other people coming to the imps. Setting down the picnic blanket and setting out the plates and juice boxes that Jordie packed for the kids. While Pastel and Aiden played with Morgan running around looking at the flowers of the trees.

“Wow! It's so much prettier than on the TV!” Pastel joyfully says as she looks up at one of the branches of one of the tree they were under.

“I know, isn't it amazing!” Morgan agrees.

“Yeah, this is really fun.” Aiden smiles

Peter watched as the three of them continued to play. Though his mind couldn't get over what Doctor Strange wanted to talk with his aunt about. “Peter?” Bucky’s voice snaps him out of his trance. He looks toward him “Sorry I was just thinking about something.”

“It's alright kiddo. Are any of your friends coming to see the cherry trees today?” Bucky tries to continue with the conversation.

“They could be, I heard a lot of people talking about it at school, probably not in this exact area with so many around New York.” An idea then comes to his head “You know I might try and go look around, maybe someone might be here that I know.”

Getting up from the blanket and walking off. “Okay, just be careful and call me if you need me.” Bucky calls.

The three children heard and came up to Bucky curious “Papa, where's Peter going? Did he have to leave?” Aiden asks.

Bucky shakes his head “No buddy, he's just going to see if his friends are here. He’ll be back soon. You kids go on and continue to play, then we can have some lunch.”

“Okay.” They all reply before heading back off to play but Pastel stops turning back looking at Bucky “You promise Petey will be back?” Worry in her eyes.

“I promise sweetheart.”

The worry Pastel had in her eyes vanished and she gave a small smile and went running to catch up with her brother and Morgan.

Once Peter figured he was far enough away from where he could be spotted. He presses a button on his shirt having it switch from his regular clothes to his Spiderman suit. “It will only be for a little bit, just to check on Aunt Jordie then I'll be back before she leaves, simple.” He says to himself using his web shooter creating a thread he slings off toward the sanctum.

Once getting to the sanctum Peter walked up to the entrance. “Please be unlocked please be unlocked.” He prayed, lifting his hand to the door before he could the door opened itself. “Yes.” quietly celebrated walking in.

Fully inside the door closed behind him, Peter knew he had to be careful knowing Doctor Strange could have heard and coming to Shadow she could alter Jordie if neither of them noticed. Jumping up to the ceiling he carefully crawls following the voices of his aunt and Strange talking.

Eventually he got close enough to hear them while also being far enough away to not be noticed. Listening as Jordie was reading from one of the books.

‘Seeing these majestic creatures up close was nothing but a magnificent sight to behold. Their bodies are very serpent - like resulting in the quadrupeds having very long bodies and the bipedials having very long necks. Standing at ten feet tall to the average human. Along with the hair upon their heads which they call manes that looking similar to different human hairstyles to extend down the spine ending at the tail. While the part upon their heads stay the same.’

Finished reading she looks back up to Doctor Strange “Wow, guess Pastel and Aiden have a lot of growing. Though I still don't get what you want to show me, Doctor.”

“Just keep reading to the next page, it'll explain everything on why I want you to know.”

“Okay.” She nods before going back to the book.

Peter was also amazed by what she read. “I can't believe Pastel and Aiden will grow so big. I have to know more.” He whispers to himself, and begins to crawl a little bit closer, stopping as he sees the heads of Jordie and Doctor Strange at the table.

‘As the imps and the other Masters of mystic arts grew closer they began to tell more about their history and from where they came. They said that they’ve come from a distant planet in search of learning more to possibly find a way to stop their kind from going extinct. Telling of how their magic came in tides and the tides began to decrease, leaving them unable to produce offspring. Once great and beautiful creatures that had been thriving, struggled to produce children. The magic they used became harder to summon like magical ‘wells’ of power drying up.’

Jordie gasped at what she read. Strange only gave a small nod for her to continue.

‘As the imps grew accustomed with us on Earth, they still couldn't find an answer to solve the problem they wished to be fixed. The years have gone by and the friends we made soon passed away either from illness or villains hunting them for magic, still no children to carry on the generation. In order to help them we decided it would be best that they go into hiding while we continue to try and find a way to help them.Till this day we have yet to find anything and don't know if our friends are even still alive.’

Putting the book down a few tears were in Jordie’s eyes. One of Shadow’s tendrils came out to comfort her. “So you're saying that Pastel and Aiden could as well be the last of their kind.”

Peter’s heart dropped hearing that placing a hand on top of his heart clenching his suit.

Doctor Strange nods again “Yes. These books were written decades ago and unless the imps are still in hiding I doubt we'll be able to find any alive. How were you able to find the two when they were still eggs?”

“A voice led me to them. I was the only one who heard it. Shadow wasn't able to even hear it.”

“It is true” Shadow responds

Strange puts a finger to his chin thinking “Do you think it could have been another imp wanting them to not be in danger?”

“Possibly. Though I don't know… I love my children and I don't want them to die because of their magic.” She sniffles, wiping the tears from her eyes.

Walking around the table Doctor Strange puts a hand upon her shoulder “Don't worry, I’ll keep looking into this and try to find out any answers that I can. Listen Jordan, Pastel and Aiden have strong magic in them already. If the imps in hiding were finally able to have children then there's a possibility that there could be more out there just like them.”

Jordie smiles putting a hand upon his that was still on her shoulder “Thank you Stephan.” Gently pulling it off as she stands up”Now I should get going to enjoy the cherry blossoms with my family.”

“You should. Isn't that right Peter?”

Peter gulps realizing he was found out. He jumps down from the ceiling “Yeah, Pastel really misses you aunt Jordie. So how long did you know I was up there?”

“The whole time.” Strange answers

“Be grateful I didn't rat you out Peter. I could smell your scent when you came in.” Shadow says

“Please don't tell my dad's. I just wanted to check on Aunt Jordie and… and… please don't tell them.”

Jordie gives a little giggle “Don't worry Peter. I won't as long as you don't tell anyone about this just yet, right Doctor Strange?”

Strange gives a sigh “Fine. Though he tells anyone I’m going to make sure Tony grounds him for eternity.”

“I promise I won't.” Peter says quickly fear in his voice of being grounded by Tony until he dies.

“Good.” Doctor Strange then opens a portal for the two of them leading to the cherry trees. “Go on and have fun with your family. And Peter, make sure you change out of the suit.”

“I will.”

Together the two go through the portal making it back to the cherry tree area they were in. Before walking any further Peter pressed the button on his suit switching back to his regular clothes.

Peter led Jordie to the area where everyone was at. Though she still had a concerned look upon her face “Are you okay about what you learned?” He asks

Jordie gives a slight nod “I am, don’t worry Peter. I’ll be okay. I don't want to worry about the future for now and just live in the moment with my children and husband.”

Coming into the view of the blanket that was set out the kids were all sitting with Bucky enjoying the sandwiches made for their lunch. Once Pastel notices Jordie coming up with Peter her eyes sparkle with little orbs of light forming around her, putting the sandwich down she runs toward them “Mama! Peter!” She calls joyful tears in her eyes.

Wrapping her front legs, her mother's legs. “I’m so happy you're back! We can play and enjoy the cherry trees together!”

Jordie reaches down petting Pastel atop her head “I’m happy to be back to sweetie and I can't wait to play with you, Aiden and Morgan.”

Letting go of Jordie's legs she looks to Peter. “Petey come play with us after we’re done eating please.”

Peter chuckles “You know I will Pastel.”

“Yay!”

Together the three walk back over the picnic blanket sitting down with the others. Enjoying the rest of the day under the cherry blossoms.

Chapter Text

Tony sat at the end of the table with his cup of coffee in his hand. He had yet to take one sip of it as he was lost in thought with what he needed to tell Pepper. He looks up as her footsteps come from the room “Morning Tony, I’ll be getting your schedule ready for today once I’m done getting ready.” She says walking over to the fridge taking out food to cook for breakfast. “Thank you Pepper.” He replied though his tone caught her attention.

“Tony what's going on? Did you wake up in a bad mood again?”

He shakes his head “No it's not that it's something else that I’ve been thinking about.”

Pepper closes the fridge and joins him at the table “Tony… if there's something you need to tell me you can. I'm your girlfriend after all.”

Taking a deep breath Tony gives a sign “Okay. It's generally about us together and there's nothing wrong with us but I’m just feeling unhappy. Don't take it the wrong way Pepper, you're wonderful to have around and the best assistant to me.”

“Are you saying you want to break up?” She interjects

Tony nods “Yeah, like I said it has nothing to do with you but I think I might be Gay.”

The room grows quite air filled with tension at what Tony has just said. After a few moments of silence Pepper gives a nod “I understand Tony, I’m glad you got the courage to tell me this. If I’m honest I was feeling a little unhappy with our relationship too, I just didn't know how to bring it up.”

“Well at least we could talk about it now.” Tony responds

Both give a small chuckle. After their little laugh at the situation they continue to talk of what the plan was now. “I don't mind moving out and getting my own place. Do you still want me as your assistant?”

“Hell yeah! You're the best assistant I've ever had Pepper I’d be nothing without you. You can stay here until you find a place if you’d like.”

Pepper gives a smile “I’d like that. We can talk about this more after we get done with the industry today.”

“That's a good call. We can't be late for our meetings today.” Tony gets up from the chair and drinks his coffee.

Pepper follows the same getting up from her own chair “Great. I'm glad we got to talk about this Tony, you're a good friend.”

“Me too Pepper, I'm happy to have a friend like you.”
