Summary
Castiel Shurley is stuck in his marriage to an abusive alpha. He knows he should leave, and he often wonders why he never does. Then, one night, things go too far, and he finally finds himself more afraid of staying than leaving. Caught in a storm, he tries to take shelter and wait it out.
Dean Winchester is a single omega with a complicated past who runs his own garage and lives in the apartment upstairs. He's closing up one night when he finds an alpha who is clearly at his lowest. He brings him in and offers him some comfort.
What starts out as the right thing to do leads to friendship. When they can no longer deny that there's more between them, with both of them recovering from their pasts, they end up saving each other in every way a person can be saved.
