“Hello, Zelda! Have you been well? Is this the Knight I’ve heard about” Queen Urbosa seemed good, probably not a threat. Her eyes were peircing though…
“I’ve been good, queen Urbosa. And yes, this is Link my personal knight”
“Princess Zelda it’s a pleasure to meet you. I was thinking I could show you my archery skills later so you know how superior I am in the craft” revali reeked of narssasism but Prehaps he could get the Bird to teach him a thing or two.
“Princess! You’re the princess right!? Oh it’s very nice to meet you and your knight! I’m sure we’ll all get along great!” The gorons enthusiasm tripped link up but it wasn’t unwelcome he guessed and his voice might make him deaf
“Yes, yes, it’s great to meet you two as well. I will see what I can do about a time where we can show eachother our skills revali and yes Cheif Deruk I hope we can bond as well”
Mipha stepped up next.. though once she started talking her eyes drifted to link several times
“greetings princess, I hope we can get along well and it is an absolute pleasure to meet you all.” Her voice was still as soft as he remembered, it fit a healer nicely but she most definitely remembered link. That might be a problem…
Princess Zelda nodded simply and the conversation continued on for a while before they had to break it off because the champions had to interact with some diplomats or something so Link and Princess Zelda continued with what they were doing. Walking around and the Princess occasionally chatting with someone. This left link to contemplate what had happened.
Urbosa had certainly met the Princess before, they seemed quite close aswell. She certainly wasn’t a threat not because she wasn’t dangerous she could probably defeat half of the royal guard with one strike of her famed lightning but it was unlikely she would hurt the royal family. She was confident and strong but had a maternal side from what link could tell. That could probably be used against her in combat but it wasn’t a bad trait per say
Revali was interesting from what link could tell, certainly arrogant which could be a bug weakness but the arrogance was at least not unearned. For one he was chosen as the Rito champion and it was quite clear he worked hard for that title. He was unequiped to talk in a casual manner suggesting isolation in childhood to probably prefect a skill and from what link could tell he was also the only champion other then link (it suprised him but Zelda mentioned him having the same title which he most certainly did not deserve) to not come from royalty or their tribe’s equivalent.
Deruk was bubbly and loud and kind. It opposed his rocky look a good bit and unnerved Link. He apparently could make shields which matched him quite well (all of the campion’s abilities matched them really which was kinda weird but Link wouldn’t question it) their wasn’t much else to note of the goron other then his insistence of physical touch. Link, urbosa and revali made it very clear they didn’t want anything to do with it but when Michael or Zelda displayed they were ok with it he hugged and shook their hands and stayed really close to them, now that put link on edge a good bit.
Finally mipha, the Zoran princess most definitely recognized link and luckily she didn’t seem too upset though of course she could just be hiding it. She was looking at him strangely so perhaps she was confused on how link became what he is link couldn’t blame her her voice was really soft and her manners the peak of politeness no doubt do to hours of training and keeping up apperences. Her healing power had been used on link once or twice and it truly was something. She was definitely suprised when Princess Zelda said I didn’t speak, thankfully Mipha didn’t tell her much of our past other then me and mipha once knew eachother.
The champions apparently had a lot of people they needed to speak to because while we had planned to meet up again at the end of the party that never ended up happening. Getting back to links room (which of course, was right next and connected to Princess Zelda’s room) was a struggle because the hylian felt completely and utterly exhausted. The moment link was sure zel-the princess was safe in her room, link sprinted through the small space between Zelda’s door and his own. Locking the door while he closed it and collapsing on his bed just seconds later. He had a lot to think about before he could get to sleep but now at least he can do it a bit more comfortably and in a bit more solitude.

Waking up was a pain but his body refused to sleep past sunrise so at 5:42 link was already dressed and ready for the day, though the princess didn’t wake up till 7 am. With 2 hours to spare he decided to go for a walk through the castle garden, the halls of the castle were intracite and delicate, made of marble and pearls and glass. The garden it’s, self was very interesting, exotic plants, out if season flowers, and the most beautiful artworks made of plants (ie a picture of something using planted flowers)
Link heard sound of some one walking in the garden where he couldn’t which which didn’t make much since because the gardeners didn’t start their shift for 30 minutes and.. was that a blue feather?
