Frozen Futures Earth's Last Hope

Chapter Text

Daichi couldn't believe what he was hearing. The words echoed in his mind, a dark whisper that grew louder with each passing moment. The lab's destruction and the loss of the Karasuno were his responsibility, a heavy burden that weighed down his shoulders. He had been a pawn in the Council's game, a weapon wielded without mercy or understanding.

The news of their actions spread through the galaxy like wildfire, igniting a firestorm of controversy and outrage. Systems once allied with the Council began to question their allegiance, their whispers of dissent growing into a roar of accusation. Across the stars, holographic screens flickered with the images of the charred Earth, the last bastion of humanity reduced to ash by those sworn to protect it. The once-celebrated Captain Sawamura was now vilified, a name synonymous with betrayal and genocide.

In the grand halls of the Galactic Council, the whispers grew louder, a symphony of disgrace that echoed through the gleaming corridors. Politicians and ambassadors alike turned their backs on the Council, their eyes reflecting the horror of what had been done in the name of peace. The Council's reputation crumbled, leaving a vacuum of power that threatened to swallow them whole.

Daichi knew he had to act. He couldn't let the memory of the six boys, the last of their kind, be forgotten. With a heavy heart, he penned a resignation letter, his hand shaking with the weight of his decision. He knew that by speaking out, he would be risking everything he had worked for, but he also knew that silence would be a betrayal of the trust the brothers had placed in him.

In a rare act of defiance, he addressed the Council, his voice unsteady but resolute. "What we have done is unforgivable," he declared, his words ringing through the chamber. "We have destroyed the last vestiges of a once-great civilization, all in the name of fear and misunderstanding."

The Council members shifted in their seats, their expressions a mix of shock and guilt. They had known the risks, but they had never anticipated the extent of the backlash. The room was so quiet you could hear a pin drop as Daichi continued.

"I stand before you today to resign my position and to demand accountability for our actions," he said, his eyes sweeping over the assembly.

The Council members remained silent, the weight of his words hanging in the air like a dark cloud. Then, from the back of the chamber, a figure emerged, striding towards the podium with purpose. It was Captain Tooru Oikawa of the Aoba Johsai, his uniform impeccable, his gaze unyielding.

Oikawa took the podium, his grip firm. "I stand with Captain Sawamura," he announced, his voice clear and strong. "We must not let fear dictate our actions. We are the guardians of peace, and we must seek the truth, no matter the cost."

The Council chamber erupted into chaos, a cacophony of voices raised in protest and agreement. It was clear that the revelation had split the Council, fracturing the once-solid foundation of power.

Daichi watched as Oikawa took control of the situation, his heart swelling with hope. The young captain had always been a beacon of courage and wisdom, and now, as the galaxy teetered on the brink of upheaval, he had become their most vocal advocate.

The Council's silence was deafening as Tendou Satori appeared on the holographic screen, his stern expression leaving no room for doubt. "By the authority of the Interstellar Peacekeeping Alliance," he announced, "the Galactic Council is hereby placed under arrest for gross violations of interstellar law, including but not limited to: the illegal experimentation on sentient beings and the attempted destruction of a planet's sole inhabitants."

The room descended into a tumult of gasps and murmurs. The Council members' faces paled, their eyes darting around the chamber as if searching for an escape. Tendou's presence was not just unexpected, it was unprecedented. As the Chief of the Alliance's Security Council, he wielded the power to bring the full might of the galaxy down upon their heads.

Daichi watched as the Council members were led away in shackles, their once-mighty figures now diminished and defeated. The whispers grew louder, turning into a cacophony of accusations and recriminations. The once-mighty Council was now a symbol of fear and oppression, their dark secrets laid bare for all to see.

Apparently they were planning on dissecting the boys for some odd reason, so its kind of good you didn't find them." Tendou Satori's voice boomed through the Council chamber, his words like a bomb that had just detonated. The Council members' faces grew ashen as the gravity of the accusation sank in. The whispers grew louder, each planet's representative now demanding justice for the survivors of Earth.

The arrest warrant was not just from one planet, but twelve. Each had been tirelessly working behind the scenes, gathering evidence of the Council's nefarious intentions.

"Well now glad to see justice brought. I guess that clears my husbands name."Denise meian stepped in the room her eyes gleaming with joy.

Tendou nodded solemnly. "Yes, Denise your husband's name is cleared. The true nature of the Council's intentions has been revealed, and the whispers of their deceit have become a deafening roar."

"oh by the way Sawamura, the boys are alive," Mrs Meian's words hung in the air like a lifeline thrown to a drowning man. Daichi's eyes snapped to hers, hope and disbelief warring within him.

What?! Alive?!" Daichi's heart skipped a beat as the revelation sank in. "How could they have survived?"

"Shuugo faked it. We needed time to get the boys to safety," Mrs Meian's words sank into Daichi's ears like a heavy stone, plummeting into the depths of his soul. "Shuugo really loves his God kids."

Tendou Satori nodded gravely. "That sneaky son of a gun," he murmured under his breath. "He played us all."

Denise's compact mirror shimmered to life, the holographic projection of a video call appearing in the air. She held it up to her face, her eyes lighting up as she saw Oliver's worried gaze. He looked exhausted, but his eyes held a spark of hope that hadn't been there before.

"Oliver," she whispered, her voice trembling. "How are the boys?"

Oliver's hand appeared in the holograph, his thumb brushing away a tear from his own cheek. "They've just regained their memories," he murmured, his voice cracking. "They're... they're okay. But it's a lot for them to take in."

The camera shifted, revealing the six brothers huddled together with Meian, their faces etched with pain and disbelief. Their eyes were red and puffy from crying, their expressions a mix of shock and sorrow. The sight of them brought a fresh wave of tears to Denise's eyes.

"They're so strong," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "They've suffered so much, and yet they still stand."

Oliver nodded, his eyes never leaving hers. "They're a testament to their parents' love," he said, his voice thick with emotion. "But we can't let this be the end of their story. We need to get them to a safe place, somewhere the Council can't reach them."

"No need the council has been arrested. Plus Shuugo's and the Jackals' names are cleared. You can come home," Tendou Satori spoke, his voice a mix of relief and urgency.

They returned to the Galactic headquarters, where the atmosphere was a stark contrast to the one they had left. The grandeur of the place felt almost alien now, the gleaming chrome and towering spires a stark reminder of the Council's former power. But the whispers had become a roar, and the people of the galaxy were ready for change.

The celebration was bittersweet, tinged with the sorrow of all that had been lost. Yet, there was also a sense of hope that grew stronger with each passing moment. Shouyou, Kiyoomi, Motoya, Bokuto, Atsumu and Osamu were legally placed in Mr. and Mrs. Meian's care, a decision that was met with nods of approval and tears of relief. Meian's eyes shone with pride as he looked at the boys, his heart swelling with the love he had held for them since their creation. Thankfully the truth about the boys genes was never discovered.

The Jackals, now seen as heroes rather than outlaws, had begun the monumental task of rebuilding Earth. The planet had suffered greatly, but it was not beyond repair. With Meian's ingenious leadership and the combined efforts of the various alien races, they set forth to create a new world. A sanctuary where all species could live in harmony, a beacon of hope amidst the stars. The once-desolate forests grew green again, and the skies cleared of pollution. Cities began to rise from the ashes, each one a testament to the unity and resilience of the beings that now called this planet home.

The brothers were overwhelmed by the diversity of life that now inhabited Earth. They had never seen so many different species, each with their own unique cultures and customs. They watched in amazement as the Jackals worked alongside aliens from across the galaxy, sharing knowledge and resources to create a sustainable, thriving society. The planet slowly transformed into a melting pot of races and species, each contributing their own flavor to the rich tapestry of life.

The first few years were filled with hard work and adjustment. The brothers learned new skills, from agriculture to technology, as they helped build the new Earth. They grew close to their newfound family, the Jackals, and the other inhabitants of the planet. Their days were filled with the laughter of children playing, the sound of hammers striking metal, and the hum of machines as they constructed a world that was truly their own.

As the years went by, the whispers of their existence grew faint, replaced by the sounds of growth and prosperity. The new Earth was a symbol of hope and unity, a stark contrast to the fear and division that had once plagued the galaxy. The brothers had found their place in this new world, each one playing a crucial role in its development.

Their hearts were filled with a quiet resolve as they gazed upon the gleaming spires that pierced the sky. This was their home now, a testament to the love and sacrifice of their parents and the boundless potential of life itself. They had come from the ashes of the old Earth, and together, they would forge a new destiny for themselves and all those who called this planet home.
