Summary
She can’t help but linger over the photo from their wedding day. Dad wears a suit and Daisuke a kimono, but they’re matching patterns. It’s a garish Hawaiian affair, all pinks and blues and yellows. Dad presses a kiss onto Daisuke’s temple. Daisuke is mid laugh, his arm thrown over Dad’s shoulders.
(Or: two years after they cut him off, Swansea’s estranged children attempt to rebuild their relationship with him.)
