Summary
Her gaze locks on the broken picture frame, the image of her and Elliot shattered on the floor, and she feels a sharp pang in her heart. She slowly bends down to pick it up, her fingers tracing over the broken glass. A wave of emotion washes over her, and she has to bite back the tears that threaten to fall.
The sound of a familiar voice breaks through her reverie, jolting her out of her thoughts. "You can always get a new frame." The shock of hearing Elliot's voice behind her makes her freeze in place. She slowly turns around, eyes wide at seeing him standing in the doorway.
"Elliot..." Olivia's voice is filled with a mixture of disbelief and relief. Her eyes take in every detail of his face, the familiar lines and features etched into her memory. He's here - really here - standing in her apartment, the very sight of him enough to make her knees feel weak.
