Summary
This is an old, unfinished version of my story “Bloody Fangs And Broken Antlers”.
The stories of carnivore-herbivore relationships have always ended in tragedy. The few passionate couples who find a balance between love and instincts are unconsciously ostracized from society.
After his father’s tragic death and days of contemplation, Louis decides to take Juno on a date. Although, he remains unsure of his feelings towards her. But when the date goes badly and danger strikes at them unexpectedly, Louis is, once again, faced with a reality he’s known ever since he left The Tower of the Black Market: he was born weak.
Juno has always been confident of her control over her carnivorous instincts, until she fell in love with Louis. Though she wants to give her love to their relationship and make him happy, she remains fearful of losing herself to her hunger. But the shadows of her past trail at her every step, lurking in the deepest crevices of her mind, sealed away, ignored. It waits for a perfect opportunity to strike at Juno’s mind and lead her on a downward spiral of destruction.
