If you recall the Naruto Shippuden episode where it refers to the Fourth Hokage's Legacy, the main synopsis centers around a flashback in which the remaining competitors from their respective teams were preparing themselves for the climax of the Chunin Exams. This task at hand included being able to find the legacy of the Legendary Hokage in Minato Namikaze. Of course, a young Naruto Uzumaki was determined for the search of someone who he doesn't know is his father quite yet at this point of the series. However, while getting advice as to where the "Fourth's legacy" was, Chōji Akimichi overheard Mighty Guy tell Naruto about the answer being located at a certain spot. It leads to Team 10 traveling along with two members of Team 7 (Sakura and Naruto, because Sasuke went to train with Kakashi Hatake,) as they desire to obtain what the legacy had entailed. Little did they know that they would face several obstacles along their journey, most of which were recklessly caused by Naruto being his clumsy self while potentially putting nearly all four ninja students in danger. By the time they had reached the temple, not only were both Sakura and Naruto betrayed by Ino Yamanaka, Chōji Akimichi, and Shikamaru Nara, but all five of them had encountered the shinobi of Amegakure before the arrival of Sasuke and Kakashi. The young Genin ninja student took on his targets with the "Chidori" technique, a powerful lightning chakra taught to him by the masterful mentor of the Sharingan ("Chidori," Narutopedia Wiki). As Sasuke stalled the shinobi ninjas, Ino, Chōji, Shikamaru, Naruto, and Sakura went inside the temple to search for the scroll 📜, which possibly held the answer to learning about Minato's legacy. Unfortunately for these determined groups of young ninja warriors, the scroll was not what Mighty Guy had described it as. With the brief overview being completed for parts one and two of the Shippuden series, let's move forward to my alternative universal story for this part of the Naruto franchise. In this instance, I decided to do some revisions in order to get to the point where all of the ninja students during the climax of the Chunin Exams, including his own teammate in Sakura, find out that Naruto Uzumaki is the son of Minato Namikaze! Even though instructors/mentors like Kakashi (who was a pupil of Minato), Iruka Umino, Anko Mitarashi, Asuma Sarutobi, Jiraiya, the Third Hokage: Hiruzen Sarutobi (who helped in raising Naruto), and Mighty Guy knew that the young blond Genin ninja student is the son of the legendary fourth hokage, not many others at this point of the story knew about the truth. While the goal was to keep Naruto's family connections and being the host of the Nine-Tails a secret to protect the young ninja, there was someone who anonymously got the word out that Minato is indeed the father of a young and energetic ninja student whose name is Naruto Uzumaki. Everyone, as far as the young ninja students, were in shock at this development, and the blond ninja warrior was already dejected about what had just happened. An investigation was under way as Hokage Hiruzen Sarutobi sent most of the highly-skilled ninja warriors out as they were determined to capture the culprit and bring them to justice once and for all. Right before the young blond genin ninja went to train with Jiraiya, Sakura wanted to make sure that her teammate was okay. "Something tells me that this was supposed to be a secret, wasn't it?" The pinkette ninja asked as she walked toward Naruto's direction. He responds, "Yes, it was." Sakura got ready to sit by her fellow genin friend as she puts a hand on his shoulder and said, "Don't be sad, Naruto, this isn't your fault. Even though I may not be able to identify with what you're going through, it doesn't mean that I won't do what I can to help you. Listen, everyone is going to have their own opinion when it comes to someone like you, but to me, you are somebody who I want to succeed more than anything! Back when we were taking the Chunin Exam Tests, I made a vow to do whatever it took to help you pass it! Even if it meant giving up on my goal of becoming a ninja, I wasn't going to let you fail, especially since you said that you want to become Hokage one day. Now that I know you are the son of the Fourth Hokage, it really means a lot. [Sakura begins to slightly blush not because of Naruto being the son of Minato Namikaze, but rather how he has inspired her to believe in herself no matter what the odds]. Come on, you look like you need a hug." The blond ninja concurs, and they both have a heartfelt embrace, "Everything is going to be alright. There's no need to worry. You want to know why because you are one of the bravest and boldest ninjas I have ever seen. I do mean that in all seriousness," Sakura replied. Naruto goes on to meet with the Legendary Sannin Ninja to prepare for the climax of the Chunin Exam Matches. It goes the same way it had in the original series, with Naruto passing out as a result of exhaustion by trying to use a summoning jutsu that wore him out. Jiraiya really hoped to teach him about his father's legendary moves before it happened. A major difference occurs when Sakura wants to know where Naruto is as she managed to catch up with the Legendary Sannin during her search. "Hey Jiraiya, have you seen Naruto anywhere around here?" The pinkette ninja student asked in a curious tone. He responds, "Yes, I have, Sakura. As a matter of fact, you just missed him. You see, Naruto and I were working on his training for the final matches, and before anything could happen, he passed out," Jiraiya explained, as he had his eyes set on a couple of beautiful ladies who were passing by. Sakura now becomes worried since they were supposed to meet up not too long ago (even though Sasuke and Kakashi were already gone at this point.) Before he could leave to have a chance to talk to these lovely ladies, Jiraiya mentions to Sakura, "If you want to know where Naruto is now, he is currently on his way to the Konoha Hospital to get medical treatment." The young ninja student does become a bit annoyed as the mentor was anxiously trying to get the attention of these ladies. Meanwhile, Naruto is still somewhat exhausted at the moment. Little does he know that Chōji Akimichi was also getting treated in the same room that the medical staff had put the blond jinchuriki student into. In the meantime, Sakura rushes as fast as she can to get to her teammate, but notices that Ino Yamanaka and Shikamaru were right in the area. She goes on to ask them if they had seen the blond so-called prankster ninja anywhere lately? Both of them responded, "No, unfortunately not." Although Ino herself was curious since hearing the news about Naruto being the son of Minato Namikaze, she began to understand his story and why someone like her should be nicer to the young and determined ninja. It gives her the chance to reminisce when referring to the moment where she helped a young Sakura as she was getting picked on by several girls who were making fun of her forehead. Even though Ino had stood up for the pinkette, there was a young, blond-haired boy who was standing at the scene. He didn't know what to do or what to say, and as both of these girls looked in his direction, Sakura attempted to go toward him to learn more about the young man. At that moment, however, she became very hesitant and afraid. The pinkette continued the flashback from this point on as she recalled when Naruto had told her, "You look very unique and beautiful, if you ask me?" Unfortunately, this was at the same time where she noticed another young man whose name was Sasuke Uchiha. Both young and energetic ninja students began to say the same thing with stars 🌟 🤩 ⭐️ 🌠 💫 🌃 🌟 in their eyes, respectively, "Had it not been for Sasuke being who he is, there probably would have been a slight chance that I could have asked this young blond-haired boy who he is!" In case you are wondering, it more than likely means that Sakura and Ino wouldn't go the same length for Naruto the way they did for Sasuke, but maybe the blond ninja student himself will become more open to either one of these possibilities happening at some point during this alternative universal story. When the reminiscent flashback comes to an end, the two members of Team 10 just remembered that Chōji was at the Konoha Hospital, so it is possible that Naruto could be there with him. Sakura just remembered that Jiraiya had told her the same thing about Naruto being taken to the hospital 🏥 after he passed out during their training 😅 not too long ago. All three of these ninjas rush to the hospital to catch up with their fellow teammates. The pink-haired genin ninja student thought about knocking the blond jinchuriki out for having to search for him when they were supposed to meet with each other during the early portions of his training. However, she realizes he might have been through enough since he's already at the hospital, along with the news about being the fourth hokage's son, therefore giving her teammate the benefit of the doubt. By the time they made it to the hospital, Naruto and Chōji were finished getting the necessary treatment that they needed as they had planned to go to Ichiraku's Ramen to get some lunch. The immature blond jinchuriki genin ninja student was hesitant on whether he could afford to pay for their meals, respectively, not knowing if he had enough money to do so. Chōji makes a deal with him that he would help in paying for their food but reminds Naruto that he'll need to pay him back when all of this is over (referring to the Chunin Exam Matches as a whole). As they were on their way to the restaurant, all five ninja students ran into both Anko Mitarashi and Mighty Guy. Naruto begins to ask them if they can elaborate on what the Third Hokage was describing when telling him about the legacy of the Fourth Hokage. In this instance, the answer that they gave him is that it will be a challenging task to encounter, but if you really want to know where your father's legacy is, it is located in a temple full of booby traps. Anko and Guy warn them to please be careful, and whatever they do, don't endanger anybody else in the process to which all five young ninja warriors could only gasp at the thought of imagining what could be awaiting them on their journey.
