Summary
When Ruby Rose entered the Great Tree she was shown a vision of her mother before she died. At least in the original timeline. In this timeline she's shown a glimpse of her fallen friend Pyrrha.
One emotional reaction later Ruby finds herself in the past, specifically the day of her Beacon initiation. Only this time, Instead of Weiss she ends up with Pyrrha as her partner. Now Ruby has a second try to make the world a better place than her first go around.
All she has to do is get a grip on her emotions. She should have no problem managing that, I mean surely, right?
