Agent 1023: Hey I have a question
Agent 8807: Ask away
Agent 1023: Ok this is probably like common knowledge but I’m new to the EOD so don’t judge me
Agent 1023: Why do some of us have code names and some of us just have numbers? And how come the handlers just go by their actual names?
Samuel: We don’t go by our actual names. They sound normal but these are just code names
Phoenix: Except for Ollie
Phoenix: He does go by his real name
Ollie: Zor already knows my name so there’s really no point in trying to hide it
Samuel: As for the field agents, those aren’t really code names as much as they’re just nicknames. They’re things either people in the Agency or Zoraxis started calling them that just kind of stuck. But all agents are assigned numbers
Agent 1023: Alright I think I understand that
Agent 1023: Wait is 13 an assigned number or a nickname?
13: Nickname
13: My actual number is 9637
Phoenix: She got the nickname for her weird luck powers
13: I don’t have weird luck powers
Ollie: Maybe not, but the important thing is that Zoraxis thinks that you do
Agent 8807: Also you definitely do
13: I’m not having this argument with you again 8807
Agent 1023: And I’m guessing Phoenix got their nickname because they keep rising from the dead?
Phoenix: Correct!
Agent 1023: Ok cool
