Summary
Dean Winchester is a ghost.
He doesn't like to think about how he became a ghost (in fact, he can't really remember it beyond blood-soaked flashes of horror) but he has his friends to keep his mind off of things. Too bad that all his friends are ghosts, but they live in relative peace in an abandoned mansion in Maine. But their hard-won peace comes to an end when their house is sold and Castiel Novak, along with his niece Claire, move in.
Dean tries to navigate his attraction to Castiel--attraction made all the worse because he can't even touch Castiel. But further investigation reveals that Castiel is hiding secrets--dangerous secrets. He and Claire are hunted, and danger constantly presses in around them from all sides. Being a ghost is no guarantee of safety in this world, and when Claire and Castiel's past finally catches up with them, it will bring them all face to face with the greatest evil of all--and one that might even be linked to Dean's own past.
