Castiel finds himself held in Dean’s arms, both of them on their knees, unsteady after the journey back from the empty.
Dean holds him.
Dean keeps holding him.
Dean holds him much longer than he ever has before, much longer than Castiel thinks he’s seen a human embrace another before. He holds him so long and so close their bodies start to sway.
Castiel isn’t about to tell him to stop.
