Heading towards the large staffroom, Cadeon Chaderick Emmetson knew that this was his first-ever meeting. And right behind him were Anthony and Ian, the two Principals who had taken him in as their ‘deputy’ in the hierarchy. Before now, Anthony and Ian had decided to invite a fellow Principal by the name of Lilly, the Wine Queen, from the other division to meet this new deputy. As the three walked along, Anthony and Ian proceeded to recap everything that they knew about the staff to Cadeon, much to the latter’s curiosity.
Anthony began as he walked up next to Cadeon. “So, Mr Emmetson, you’re about to ‘spend a day with’ all of the staff that are here at the University. Would you like us to run you through on who all of them are?”
Ian added. “As you’re new here, and we think you have the right to… learn more about this University and the two divisions. The main topic we have to discuss is… the tour that we’re sending someone on. The one being given the tour is a new student who has decided to join us and is a small yet well-known musical YouTuber. As for who is doing the tour… Nathan Bronsen, as per usual.”
Cadeon asked. “Had he… done this before?”
Ian nodded as Anthony went on. “Yes. He did it last year, I believe. Now… can you please explain what your… outfit is? How come you decided to arrive in athletic attire? Didn’t you get given the uniform? And have you heard of MrBeast, as he’s planning to challenge certain people? But not yet.”
Ian added. “However, I have a feeling that there will be subtle hints towards future events while we’re in this meeting, Cadeon. Finally, what’s your background? Do you consider yourself to be… like a rival because of the way you dress? Or because of what you’ve done in the past?”
Cadeon answered. “I was known for being a veteran at the Wii Games known as Wii Sports, Mario Kart, but not the same level as the ‘Drift King’ and… Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games. I haven’t had it personally delivered yet, which is why I’m wearing relaxed, athletic attire. I haven’t heard of MrBeast, sorry. Only those who are skilled in Pokémon and Mario Kart, like the Drift King, for example. And I have heard about your… series, Anthony. What are these other teachers… like?”
Anthony listed as he stopped at the corner. “Literature is Daniel Condren, he’s the Drift King that you just spoke of. The other Literature Teacher we have is Arthur Kirkland.”
Ian warned. “He will call you Chaderick, as that’s your middle name, right? As mine is Andrew. And you normally go by your middle name, right?”
“Yes, Ian… So, Arthur calls me Daniel instead, kind of reversing his rule in the process. Sykkuno and Natsuki Aburaya are the Mathematics Teachers. Michael is the Technology Teacher who is currently busy with the Biology Teacher Jeremy – so, the Yamihara brothers will be joining us instead.”
Cadeon asked. “Who are… the Yamihara brothers?”
Ian explained. “Logan and Ryan-Yuri! The two who get called Tamaki and Yuri by the Kirklands! Known for their technology skills and how one of them likes assisting with livestreams while the other likes substituting for Michael’s classes!”
Anthony added. “Don’t forget that we have a new teacher as well! They’re known as Ash Curry, from the legendary GTLive channel!”
Cadeon smiled. “The host who took over from MatPat, right?”
“That’s correct! Well, mainly from him on the GTLive channel, as other theorists took over Food Theory, Film Theory, Game Theory and Style Theory. Moving on, Alice, Arthur’s sister, is doing History along with Tyler. The main thing they both have in common – know a lot about the Industrial Revolution and the Victorian Era.”
“Two classes with individuals who like calling others by middle names, okay then.”
“Tom Nook takes on the Geography Class, while Martyn Littlewood is the… Minecraft Exploration Teacher, right?”
Ian nodded. “And you would be correct, Anthony.”
Anthony went on. “Drawcia Sorceress is the Art Teacher, who turns her class into a colourful showcase in EVERY lesson. PJ Linguori is in charge of Drama; Music has two Teachers – Joel Berghult and Squidward.”
Cadeon lit up. “Ah! You mean Mr Tentacles from SpongeBob?”
“Yes, Cadeon, that one. And we have a feeling that Lilly will have invited Víctor, the division owner of his part of the University. Finally, Ian – explain the PE/Sports faculty.”
Ian concluded. “Wii Fit Trainer, Elizabeth Oxford and Serena Anderson. Tyler Scheid is at home with Mark and the others. He’s Mark's best friend and has done a podcast with him. Finally, I have a feeling that the Jimson Brothers will be joining us, as they’re like gym leaders in a way. As well as how one of them is a janitor, while the other likes to be our substitute teacher when asked.”
Cadeon nodded at this as he finished. “Thank you both for explaining. And I can’t wait to meet them.”
And soon, that was when the trio decided to gently round the corner and enter the straight, where a certain duo would be waiting.
Up ahead, a tall lady with long red hair, a matching dress and a crown appeared waiting with a glass of wine in her hand as a slightly shorter young man with thick-rimmed glasses, messy brown hair and a tuxedo stood next to her.
Anthony beamed, his Spanish slipping through. “¡Buenos Días, Lilly!”
(Translation: Good Morning!)
Lilly sighed. “And who might this new student be, Anthony…? And morning to you, too, Ian. I’m Lilly, and this is Víctor.”
Víctor lit up, correcting Lilly. “And you must be the new deputy or assisting principal, am I right?”
Cadeon explained. “That would be correct, Víctor.”
Anthony added. “This is Cadeon Chaderick Emmetson; it’s his first day here, so go easy on him, you know?”
Lilly bent down to have a better look before commenting. “You seem to look like the perfect candidate… for someone who wants to take on the running track. Well, we welcome you to Ontarighton University.” She then stood up as she spoke. “Víctor, I believe it’s time for us all to enter the meeting.”
Víctor concluded. “That is correct! Now, would you two like to follow us into the meeting room?”
After the two had gotten out of earshot, Ian commented. “I have a feeling that the minute she walks in… “GOOD DAY TO YOU, MICHELLE!” by Arthur and Alice… Be ready to be called Daniel in front of everyone…”
Anthony put his hands up in defence as he snapped back. “You’re the one whose middle name is the first name of the JANITOR!”
“Ah… that’s right…”
Cadeon asked. “And are they always like this?”
Anthony beamed as he walked ahead and held onto the door handle. “That is correct, Cadeon! No matter what, Arthur and Alice will NEVER fail to call people by their middle names. If they don’t have a middle name or are like me, they’ll find a way. Now… would you two like to enter…?”
With that, Anthony then proceeded to gently open the door and gestured for Cadeon to wait while he and Ian announced something to the group. Minutes went by, and that was when Cadeon gently entered the conference room where everyone was standing up, exclaiming “Welcome!” in mainly English or their own languages. And right behind him, that was when Harisu and Andrew snuck in, taking their seats – quickly apologising as they had to go from the other side of the campus.
Anthony introduced. “Starting today, Cadeon will be our new Deputy Principal. A position that sits just below mine and Ian’s as Principals, but remains higher than the Head Teachers. And Ash Curry… Can you please introduce yourself along with Cadeon? Even though you had already done so. But first, Cadeon… would you like to go first?”
Cadeon greeted. “Good day to you all, I’m Cadeon Chaderick Emmetson. And starting today, I will be Anthony and Ian’s deputy.”
Ash Curry then politely excused herself, proceeding to stand up and add. “And I’m Ash Curry, from GTLive, and from today to add to my list of achievements – I shall be teaching Science! Don’t worry, as I’ll make it as fun and interesting as possible!”
Ash Curry appeared to be one of the youngest in the room, but slightly older than Cadeon, with reddish-brown long hair tied into a ponytail, a bright cardigan on top of a t-shirt and jeans. But unlike their predecessor, MatPat, Ash Curry was more varied in teaching styles than going on tangents about a singular theory.
Anthony smiled, amused at how the two had introduced themselves as Ian teased. “You seem to be liking this a lot, aren’t you?”
Anthony nodded. “Yes! Now then…” He then asked. “Would you two like to explain to us your hobbies, as I think SOME OF US might be curious as to what you’re into.”
Ian reminded. “Anthony… Nathan Bronsen isn’t here – if you’re talking about lore…”
“You’ll see what I’m ACTUALLY implying soon, Ian…”
Ian rolled his eyes and sighed as Cadeon stepped forth and declared excitedly. “During the early 2010s, I was known as the Mario & Sonic Gaming Expert! I broke records on Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games! Also, I used to dabble in Mario Kart as well as Wii Sports to the point where you could consider me the Friendly Rival of Sports! Forgive me if… any of you share that title…”
Tyler stood up as he responded. “Heh, the name’s Tyler Winston, the History Teacher. And I’m considered the Friendly Rival in Sports as well, so – we have something in common, Cadeon. My namesake is currently at home with Jack, Mark, Ethan and the others – he’s the Coach.”
Elizabeth went next. “And I’m one of the PE/Sports Teachers. I’m Elizabeth Oxford! And this is Serena - my younger cousin!”
Serena stated. “Yes, that’s me – Serena Maylene Anderson. I frequent the Sports Stadium and some call me the Sports Gym Leader due to how I’ve been practising my skills in Wii Sport, Wii Play and Wii Fit! If I start dancing during my sport showcase, I just connected myself to my phone, again.”
“That’s Serena for you.”
Ash Curry beamed. “You already have quite the audience waiting for your next performance, Cadeon! Ready to investigate the logic and witness your skills in the art of sport! I might only focus on long-form videos for my streams, but I always have time to investigate the lore and science behind other interests!”
RTGame immediately stood up, announcing as he introduced himself flamboyantly. “I’m Daniel Condren, also known as the Drift King of Ireland! But you can just call me RTGame. I’m one of two Literature Teachers at this University.” As if he wanted to start another chain reaction, RTGame declared. “And I’m sure you’ve heard of a little-known game called Pokémon, right?”
Ash Curry bounced about as Cadeon admitted. “I think I have… Based on what I experienced back in Hove… Yet, I now have a feeling that this new student is… a Pokémon Trainer.”
Arthur grumbled on knowing what was about to occur. “You said the thing, Chaderick… Joshua and Jarryd are going to… exclaim something loud enough to summon Suzi…” He then looked over at RTGame. “Don’t look so innocent, you also said it…”
RTGame put his hands up in defence. “I was just joining in on the introductions, Arthur! We BOTH work in the same subject, remember?”
“That’s right…”
“And you meant RACHEL, when you said that middle name, right?”
“She has a double-barrelled first name, no middle name. So I removed the hyphen and call her Suzi.”
As if on cue, that was when Andrew bounced up from his seat, dragging Harisu up with him. Andrew appeared to be a younger version of Phil Lester, while Harisu had reddish-brown hair and brown eyes, looking a bit like a neater version of Dan Howell.
Andrew announced. “Pokémon Trainer, you say. Well, the name’s Andrew Jimson, and this is my brother Harisu. We’re both Type Users from the Bouldering Stadium!”
Harisu added. “And we even heard that a new student had arrived and is also a Pokémon Trainer, we believe.”
“We shall challenge him to a battle to see what kind of Trainer he really is!”
Harisu reminded. “Just don’t go TOO hard on him, we might not know how strong he really is…”
Anthony explained. “Cadeon, Andrew is the janitor of this university, but is also a strong Type User over at the Boulder Stadium. Harisu does the same role at the Bouldering Stadium, but when he’s not there – can be found substituting classes. Elaine, why do you look so excited…?”
Ian facepalmed. “Because of the topic we’re now on, Anthony… I’ve already arranged for someone to drop off the enrolment sheets after filling in the information at home. So, if you see a lady that looks like Ash Curry… that’s Anna Prosser…”
Ash Curry immediately beamed, eyes sparkling in delight. “She’s the host of the Pokémon World Championships! She has the best slow burn story of how she got with this new student of yours! I’m not spoiling it, Anthony.”
Elaine politely stood up, readjusted her leather jacket and dusted off her red dress as she greeted. “He'd better be a strong trainer, as I’m the Champion of Galar: Elaine Santillan Rivera! Undefeated and have kept the longest win streak here at Ontarighton University! I wouldn’t be surprised if…”
As if on cue, that was when a barrage of knocking occurred, mostly to the tune of a certain champion battle theme.
Andrew and Harisu blurted out. “Rachel!”
Serena stood up before running over, as if she knew who this was before opening the door to reveal the Kalos Champion – Rachel-Suzi Lamming. She appeared to be very pleased with the atmosphere as she walked in, as if she heard about what was going on and wanted to join in.
Rachel was about 5 years younger than Serena, yet was partially taller and was in her Pokémon Training attire from when she had become Champion in the Kalos Region back in late 2018.
Rachel began. “New year, new residents, am I correct? Nice to meet you all, especially to my fellow Pokémon Trainers as well as Elizabeth and Serena!” She then looked over at Cadeon before continuing. “And who must you be? And why do I have a feeling that an old rival of mine from the States had returned?”
Tyler Winston, Elizabeth, Serena, Ash Curry, RTGame and Aaron had to hold in their responses, as they knew who she was talking about. While Andrew, Harisu and the others were confused at this.
Cadeon responded. “I’m Cadeon Chaderick Emmetson, the new deputy of Anthony’s division. And I can’t wait to challenge those who are in Sport or Pokémon! Even if I prefer to not go too hard in my competitiveness.”
Elaine smiled. “That’s the way to do it, Cadeon!”
Serena suggested. “Guess that means we’re BOTH candidates for being Nintendo Wii rivals with Nathan Bronsen! As we all like Wii Sports and other Nintendo games!”
RTGame beamed. “And don’t forget the Mario Kart part of it as well! Even if on that track, Mount Wario, Nathan Bronsen blasts the Slider theme. Without fail, every time!”
Cadeon added. “While he has that for his theme when playing, mine is the Athletic Theme from New Super Mario Bros Wii.”
This made everyone start laughing lightly as they were all now thinking of what theme this trainer had, as well as what games they liked playing. On top of this, it was time to continue with introductions: not knowing that soon, the answer to who would be starting tomorrow would be revealed unexpectedly.
“Well, speaking of MUSIC…” Squidward bluntly stated as he stood up with a clarinet in hand. “I do hope that he’s musically talented like myself and Joel here. Did you prefer me to say Roomie or Joel in that moment?”
Roomie sighed. “Either is fine. I’m used to being called Gustaf by Alice and Arthur by now. But I’m concerned that I’ll have my name misspelled by TSUMUGI. Because of that movie! Now, what were you saying about Music? And… should we all discuss our teaching plans yet?”
Anthony responded. “It’s better if we plan our classes in secret, but…”
Ian cut in. “We COULD start planning what we could do in the lead up to VALENTINE’S day! Once we have the sudden reveal of who the new student is.”
Roomie nodded. “That’s correct.”
Squidward went on. “Anyway, my name is Squidward Tentacles, and this is Joel Berghult, also known as RoomieOfficial. We’re professionals in MUSIC, aren’t we? And we have a feeling that we’re about to be joined by another musical genius.”
Roomie then perked up. “Nice to see that you’re teaching Drama, PJ Linguori! Can you please give us a bit of insight? I’m just down the hall if you need music!”
PJ Linguori explained. “We continuously plan and perform in the auditorium, and just recently, my class completed an assignment. Although I don’t recall why I let someone do it in a group before doing a part solo…”
Aaron chuckled, knowing what PJ was talking about. “Heh, you mean my team – the Traveller Club - performing the FNAF 1 song before Marcus decided to perform No Good Deed. He looked like he had gone through a wind tunnel afterwards!”
“Yes, that moment.”
Arthur wondered. “I have a feeling that certain teachers will try to team up for the practice or even to observe the moment that the students will put their plans into action. Especially you three – Gustaf, Daniel and Mr Linguori…”
Roomie, PJ and RTGame looked over at Arthur for a moment before realising what Arthur had just said. Alice Kirkland – Arthur’s female counterpart and History Teacher, had to hold back her laugh at how serious Arthur was.
Soon, the Cooking duo then stood up, causing Arthur to grumble. “Of all days… Alfred decides to run to the castle… while Ciel decides to remain at the apartments and do cooking…”
RTGame explained, on hearing Arthur’s grumbling. “He means Feliks Jankowski - last I heard, he was preparing some food to be delivered here tomorrow, as you’re teaching the class how to decorate, aren’t you? Also, he gets called Ciel due to how similar Feliks is to Ciel Phantomhive. Minus the contract on eye and eyepatch thing.”
Amai, a young lady with brown hair and white cooking attire, stood up and walked around, pulling out some cupcakes that she had randomly. “Hello, I’m Amai. Today, I’ve bought some of my own cupcakes. Sorry about Feliks not showing up along with Alfred… Hey, Quackity, would you like to explain what kind of things happen in our class as I go around? And that would be correct, RTGame.”
Quackity nodded as Amai walked around before explaining. “Feliks was asked by his sisters to be there for the meeting and the whole ‘get to meet the resident’ thing. As for that, mi amigo, we tend to cook and deliver treats, meals and teach others how to create the most perfecto meals! Feliks is mostly in charge of delivering, while Amai and I are more on the side of actually cooking and teaching.”

Cadeon took the cupcake and took a small bite before commenting. “Very sweet, thank you.”
Dark Matter Swordsman smiled, which was rare, as he took TWO. “I'd better save one for Lucia… she loves sweets. Cadeon… I thought you didn’t prefer sweets.”
“Not normally. And it seems like you two love it as well, Elizabeth and Serena.”
Elizabeth explained. “Dark Matter Swordsman is one of our Counsellors, and is an expert when it comes to sword art. Hence why Taylah and Tessicah always seem to be anticipating the healing items whenever he battles… Oh, and these just remind me of my own cooking.”
Serena added. “She never eats sweets, only ever biscuits and tea.”
“Exactly.”
Fiddling around with the cupcake, Drawcia Sorceress muttered. “Interesting design… PJ, does this look rightfully handcrafted to you?”
PJ Linguori rolled his eyes before reminding. “I’m in DRAMA, remember? But it still looks good. Well – good enough for someone to dramatically propose with it.”
“Like… Arin Hanson?”
“Not only him… There are a few others who would do that AS WELL! And Sayori Doki would be doing the gender-reversed version, with the help of Natsuki Doki!”
Drawcia then stood up and explained. “I’m Drawcia, from the Kirby Series – I’m known for my grand displays of art and creativity during my lessons!”
Andrew bluntly sighed as he reminded. “Often resulting in me having to clean the mess during my rounds…”
Harisu added. “Resulting in us missing out on training as we BOTH had to clean the classroom.”
Víctor silently nodded as he checked a message. “Shadow Stephanie’s on her way, as she wants to ask me something… Couldn’t she just message…?”
Ash Curry shrugged. “Maybe it’s THAT important, Víctor… I theorise that it’s to do with an adventure she wants to undertake. That’s how some journeys start – by being told something by a mentor before going around to gain permission or gathering a team. She’s likely doing BOTH. Speaking of adventures… Aaron and Martyn! How have your students been with their adventures?! Since we had already gotten a slight insight into PJ’s class’s activity earlier.”
Aaron explained. “I’m one of the Head Teachers alongside Jimmy Donaldson over here. And besides the FNAF 1 performance… anticipating Martin to go for his weekly hike to the Mystical Ranges. He never takes a map as he swears he knows the route. But, I have a feeling he doesn’t, after SIX years of trekking along the same route.”
Ken smirked. “Guess it will be an early birthday gift for Jackson! We’ll do the proper celebrations on Wednesday.”
Jimmy Donaldson added. “Heh, and I’m the other Head Teacher – Jimmy Donaldon, owner of the world’s most followed YouTube channel: MrBeast. On behalf of my team… I welcome you to Ontarighton University.”
Cadeon blinked before asking. “Team…? And who’s in your… MrBeast Crew?”
Sykkuno explained. “Everyone’s favourite Love Rival and my best friend, CorpseHusband, Jimmy, continue the rest.”
Jimmy smiled. “Dream, Sapnap and Karl Jacobs, the other Minecrafters. We’re currently planning something, but we’re always ready to tackle Valentine’s Day.”
Sykkuno went on. “While he’s the Head Teacher, I’m the Mathematics Teacher, although… I fear that Michael might drag me into an adventure… Natsuki, you’ll be ready to take my class, right?”
Natsuki Aburaya nodded. “Yes, as long as I don’t get too held up by Nicole Soul OS…”
Martyn went next. “Speaking of exploration, my Minecraft Exploration Classes have been going excellently, Grian’s been into discovering the secrets of the crystals that appear in Minecraft, and on Valentine’s Day – determined to find THAT occurrence that he believes will happen in the Coastal Caverns. I wish him luck with that…”
Alice folded her arms, looking over at Martyn. “Charles will get stuck there 100%. And I think Braginski will take on Frederick and his team…”
Ken facepalmed. “Alice is the History Teacher as well and… I only looked over as that’s my middle name. Since Grian doesn’t have a middle name – I guess you’re calling him by his first name – Charles. And I somehow second that idea, Alice.”
“Thank you.” She then explained. “In a nutshell, Kyle and I do the same subject – but he prefers the Victorian Era and general Internet Meme History, while I do History in general. Just hope that Foreign Languages teacher, Francine, doesn’t disturb us… As per usual…”
Natsuki Aburaya sighed, knowing that exact same feeling, followed by Roscoe grumbling. “All they need is a good whack with the ruler, you know?” He then sighed. “Geography’s my expertise. Formerly of the library… where Natalie and Jennifer Carter work…”
Martyn asked. “They’re the ladies who don’t care if I accidentally summon a portal in the middle of class, right?”
“Ah, yeah…”
Tom Nook went next. “The name’s Tom Nook. You might remember me from Animal Crossing, yes? I work in Economics, got it?”
June Moone concluded. “And I’m June Moone. Nice to meet you. I’m part of the counsellors.”
Ryan-Yuri and Logan beamed in unison as they saluted. “Finaly – we’re the Yamihara brothers – Ryan and Logan! We’re standing in for Jeremy and Michael, today!”
Cadeon beamed. “Nice to meet you all as well!”
Anthony nodded, as he realised what topic they needed to discuss next. “And I believe that it’s time for us to discuss Valentine’s and… Víctor? Any updates on where Shadow Stephanie is?”
Víctor responded. “Not far now! I say she’ll be here by the time we conclude our suggestions for Valentines’ Day.”
Alice reminded, standing up. “Everyone – Edward, William and Mark will be going with their friends to Parramatta on Friday. So, please rearrange THOSE plans, if you wanted them…”
Anthony sighed. “This is about the movie premiere, isn’t it?”
“EXACTLY, Daniel!”
Anthony prinched the bridge of his nose and exhaled as he muttered. “You didn’t have to remind me… as Mark’s mother emailed the entire university, excited about her son’s movie – Iron Lung. Anyway… predictions or ideas for Valentine’s Day?”
Roomie went first. “Musical performances will be practiced and refined. So that everyone can practice playing for others. Even if it means having to stop certain students from bending the knee to others instead of our main target, which is Monika Doki, from the Literature Club.”
RTGame added. “Monika is a hard one to impress, Roomie… Your childhood best friend, Felix, tells me often of how he struggles with impressing her – often getting interrupted or rejected… Then again, I do expect everyone to be going over the top with their poetry writing, if they want to focus on THAT in my classes… Arthur, what do you think?”
“Daniel, you’re most likely to join in with playing music and being poetic… You created a song parody and dressed up for a video, remember?”
“Arthur! That was TWO or THREE years ago at this point!
“Right… I bet James, Michael, Arvid Ulf, Joseph, this Daniel guy he speaks of, and whoever this new student is… will be the ones to write the most detailed poems and write music to match…”
“Someday… It’s hard to tell WHO you’re speaking of…”
“I do apologise for that, Daniel.”
Roomie confirmed. “In respective order: Dan and Phil, Felix, as well as Arin and Danny. Twist is that he goes by his middle name, Danny… First name is Leigh…”
“Thank you, Gustaf, makes things easier then. Yet, I have a feeling that I’ll have fun with this new musical student’s name…”
Alice smiled. “And I know you will. Daniel and Andrew… I might be missing from the campus as… the Foreign Languages Teacher, Francine Bonnefoy… will be wanting to steal me to take me on… a date…” She then asked. “Who else is thinking of going on a date on that day?”
Ken softly admitted. “I’ll be stuck at home with my family… So, I wish anyone attending good luck with comforting Felix for me…”
Jimmy reassured. “I have to attend anyway, so if anything happens… he can always come running to me, Ken.”
“Thank you.”
Andrew shrugged. “I’ll be cleaning up the messes of any glitter-filled proposals…”
Harisu smiled. “With Brittany by your side, right?”
“I guess, but we’re JUST friends.”
“Understood.”
Amai explained. “Quackity and I have asked Feliks Jankowski to attend in our places, as Alfred thinks that he can handle it the most, despite this likely being one of the first large Valentine’s Day celebrations he’d attended, and…” She then whispered. “I might’ve told him to bring Sebastian Boschman, and they both dress up…”
Quackity added. “We don’t ship them; they’re just best friends – like Andrew and Brittany. Sykkuno, will you be attending with Corpse, your best friend?”
Sykkuno nodded. “That, I will be doing. Although I fear that my Streamer Mansion roommates will… follow me…”
“Ignore them and focus on Corpse… as it’s your day.”
“Thank you…”
Sykkuno lightly blushed at this and tried to hide it as Natsuki Aburaya admitted. “I’ll be at home, grading papers, once again. Who else is doing that, anyone?”
Tyler sighed. “I will instead be at the University, observing the various ways that students express their talents in trying to propose and seeing who is most like Brock from Pokémon… And I know WHO is most like him…”
Elizabeth stated, looking over at Tyler. “You know… You don’t have to attend… Or is this because you want to attend in place of Nicholas, your best friend? Serena and I are staying home.”
“You could say that Elizabeth… As he would rather be focused on rescuing Grian than attend Valentine’s Day. But I know that he’ll check on me afterwards.”
“That’s nice.”
“Thank you.”
Serena asked. “Valentine’s isn’t your thing either, isn’t it, Rachel?”
Rachel admitted. “No, it isn’t. So, I’m out as well.”
Martyn smirked. “I’ll be trying my best to impress visitors if they were to stumble across me when they visit the library… And if Monika needs more… candidates for who should try and win her over – I shall do it, despite being married myself.”
Ken clapped. “And we all believe in you, Martyn, just like how I have high hopes for Felix!”
“Thank you.”
Ryan-Yuri spoke. “Logan and I aren’t documenting whatever that is… And neither is Maika… Emilia would be busy with Lucian…”
Logan added. “But I think Nathan would 100% be ready to be there for his friends as the majority would want to propose to Monika… And we don’t mean your sister, Aaron…”
Aaron chuckled. “Exactly. My sister is likely going to get flowers from the residents anyway. Out of friendship, not love. I’ll be at home as well.”
PJ Linguori asked. “Roomie, will you be attending? I might… just to watch the fruits of my theatre kid labour unfold as they present their performances,”
Roomie answered, half-laughing at the theatre kid joke. “Yes, as I will be performing my music along with the others. Squidward, what will you be doing?”
Squidward thought this over before bluntly stating. “Nothing much, as I have a date with my clarinet.”
Drawcia added. “Likely at home as well. Practising my art.”
Dark Matter Swordsman chipped in. “Doing… other things with my family.”
Lilly nodded. “And I’ll do the same with my Paige Akina.”
Anthony and Ian looked at each other before Ian explained. “Anthony, I’ll be right here, since you want to attempt proposing to ladies with flowers and poems again.”
Anthony smirked. “Heh, and you know it. And I hope that I can impress you as well.”
“Oh, thank you.”
Lilly was surprised at this as the others silently nodded at this,
June Moone sighed. “At home with my friends. Will you do the same, Elaine? As you’re more into… Pokémon Battles…”
Elaine answered. “Maybe I’ll visit Rachel or one of the Pokémon Trainers for a battle. Or even that new resident that moved in, Tyler!”
“Right… I’ll invite Aracely to my apartment…”
Tyler beamed, determination filling within him. “And I have a feeling that our new resident would accept your challenge in a heartbeat.”
Elaine smiled. “Thank you, Tyler!”
After hearing everyone, Ash Curry stood up before theorising. “Poetry has always worked, and it’s the same with songs, as evident with Doki Doki Literature Club – as we joined their club to craft long-form poetry, which helps us get to know the girls more. A bit of a spoiler for anyone who hasn’t played it – Monika plays a song at the very end as the credits roll: And since most of us teared up at it… Music is greatly appreciated. As for cupcakes – It’s less effective, but some hearts can be softened with food. For example: Sasha, Patrick and even Natsuki Doki. Flowers, it depends, but it’s worth a try!”
The group were amazed at this as Cadeon commented. “You must all be excited about Valentine’s, then! For those who had met or heard of this… new student… what’s he like?”
Rachel immediately explained. “Only one of the great Pokémon Trainers of our time! Once attempted a Starter-Only adventure through Sinnoh! And I eventually found out he’d become Champion of Kalos and an expert in other Pokémon Regions! My dream is to one day battle him once more!”
Serena chuckled as she made two references in one sentence. “Since Rachel really DOES want to battle… She could eat three bowls of rice!”
Tyler immediately got the reference as he smiled. “Expert in creating original songs inspired by video games that don’t need to have direct references to gaming to be enjoyed. As well as…” He then laughed. “Song covers from anime, movies and other musicians’ songs.”
Remembering something, Cadeon stated. “I have a feeling he did a song that I’ve performed in Tomodachi Life before…”
“Probably. And he seems like a nice young man who would do great in using his music to impress others. Even if it means that Arin will propose, and either Jack or Mark will have to stop Arin… Likely Mark.”
Ash Curry lit up. “Did you say… FNAF? I have a LOT of books, theory videos and even small plushies if he’s interested! As well as Pokémon. Hey, Víctor! What do you think of this and… why do you keep glancing towards the door?”
Víctor explained, hearing fast footsteps. “I told Shadow Stephanie to tell me in person about this idea of hers, and she should be here right about…” And as soon as the door swung open, Víctor finished. “Now. And good morning, Shadow Stephanie.”
Shadow Stephanie appeared to be overly enthusiastic as her purple eyes danced in delight, as she was ready to announce this idea that she couldn’t wait for. Her purple hair was tied up into two ponytails, and she was in her hand-made uniform that she made. Everyone turned to look, as if they knew what was going to be revealed or spoken next.
Shadow Stephanie beamed as she turned towards her father, not knowing that about 30 individuals had their eyes on her. “Father! May I please arrange to visit Monster High and stay there overnight before coming home? I was thinking of doing it… on Wednesday. As Tuesday is when everyone is back, and Friday or Saturday is kind of when I’m inviting them here to Fernton Heights! Once they agree with me, that is! I might need an escort there, just not… Natalya…”
The crowd was about to react, and Víctor was about to speak when someone burst in, as the door was left open, with the air conditioning going – even though it wasn’t THAT hot in the Chiharu Region. Politely realising this, the next sudden individual closed the door before sprinting to the front to stand next to Cadeon.
She appeared to be similar to Ash Curry but with straighter and lighter coloured hair, slightly older and looked like she was ready to host another tournament. Yet to Cadeon – reminded him of a certain landlord from the Streamer Group Mansion, who was currently out at the shops with her brother. Rachel didn’t know who this was, yet Tyler knew – and so did Andrew and Harisu, as they couldn’t hold in their excitement. Elaine smirked, knowing what was about to happen, while the rest of the faculty were confused. Except for Elizabeth, as this lady’s enthusiasm matched that of Amelia Rachington, another Pokémon Typing expert.
And cue the Encounter! Lass theme from Pokémon as this lady spoke excitedly, handing over paperwork. “Mr Padilla! I have the entrance paperwork for my husband! Oh! I’m Anna Prosser, Host of the Pokémon World Championships and…” That was when she revealed, beaming brighter than Sayori on a good day as she struck a determined battling declaration pose. “Wife of the best YouTube Musician and Pokémon Trainer Nathan ‘NateWantsToBattle’ Sharp!”
In that moment, the whole room went silent for exactly five seconds before Rachel jumped to her feet and shouted. “I knew it! My 2016 Rival from my unplanned trip to a convention in Los Angeles has returned! TEN YEARS LATER! He’s the guy who prefers to be called Nate, right? He lives in the… apartments where you are, right, Tyler?”
Tyler smiled, nudging his glasses up. “Yes, that is correct, Rachel. Second floor, next to the Jankowski family. Wait, why were you called to that convention?”
“It was a Pokémon one, and one of the organisers found out that a Pokémon Trainer was living in Crestline, California – which was me. So they dragged me there, and that was where I met and battled him. And you were hosting that year, Anna…”
Anna admitted. “Yes, that was me.”
Andrew smiled. “Can’t wait to find out what kind of Trainer he is… and what Typing he might obtain if we were to give him… the gloves that allow you to use different styles of magic… Some of us use it for general magic, like Marcus, while others obtain Pokémon Typings and can use them in battle.”
Harisu added. “Then you have those who use it to harness the power of cosplays – like Sebastian Boschman.”
Arthur nodded as he reminded. “Don’t forget Colin and how he can randomly use any of the video game items that Víctor’s division collects for battles, as well as his tendency to visit random video game worlds.”
Anna and Cadeon were confused as they asked. “Colin…?”
Ian sighed. “Arthur’s using middle names again…”
Anthony went on. “Yeah, that’s the middle name of the student who will be exploring this campus and taking your partner on a tour, Anna. The student is Nathan Colin Bronsen, our resident Canadian journalist. Now you can understand why I asked Ash Curry to tell Arthur and Alice not to make THAT naming joke…”
Anna chuckled as she realised. “Oh, right! Same first name! Now I get it.”
Elaine smiled, accidentally making the naming mistake before Arthur and Alice could say anything. “Perfect! Now I have TWO Pokémon opponents called Nathan!”
“And that’s why around here, we’re just going to call my Pokémon Trainer partner, Nate…” Anna facepalmed.
Anthony smiled as he filed the enrolment papers to allow June Moone to help with filing later. “Yet, I’ll let that slide just this once, Elaine. And from this day forth, January 26, 2026 – we shall allow this musical Pokémon Trainer into this region and into Ontarighton University.”
Note: Yes, it’s Australia Day, but Anthony got too enthusiastic about hearing of this new deputy, Cadeon Emmetson, as well as this new teacher, Ash Curry.
Ash Curry beamed, remembering something. “He was in that one musical, wasn’t he? And he did it the year before you met him, Rachel! Matthew told me about it and went on about the lore to myself, Tom and Lee before he retired! Guess that was how he passed on the FNAF Lore crown and simultaneously made us discover THAT.”
Roomie and Squidward were confused as they both questioned. “Musical…? Isn’t that a genre in the Concert Hall…?”
“Exactly, but they planned out the songs and dialogue and story to create this long movie about their time as Night Guards! And they sang the majority of the time! Has an amazing plot, even though the place burns down in the finale because of a weird… green plush version of a haunted animatronic. The other four animatronics in their plush forms are nice, but not this one. The robotic version only appears briefly in the game and movies… but IS the reason the place burns.” Ash Curry then lightened the mood by beaming. “Now, everyone… shall we explain to Anna and Cadeon who Nathan Colin Bronsen, our best journalist, is?”
In unison, that was when everyone stood up and looked towards Anna, as if they were ready to explain. Ian wondered what was going on, as Anthony reassured him that this was the norm for those wanting to learn more about the student.
Ian looked at the time as he whispered. “Anthony, it’s nearly midday, would Levi be on his lunch break soon, or does the gift store close early as it’s a public holiday?”
Anthony responded. “It is likely that it will close early. And that Daniel will meet him there and ask him to set up a… ‘meet and gift’ session. Which is where they’ll go to Nathan’s to get him to join them as Levi and Daniel will watch as Nathan delivers the box to Nate.”
Logan immediately stood up, his dark-brown eyes shining in delight as he declared, dressed in the University uniform. “He’s the journalist of the Chiharu Region alongside Maika! I help with organizing the livestreams and gathering information with any upcoming events. Nathan’s the one who uploads videos and posts to the social media page, as he does it himself.”
Ryan-Yuri added. “He’s the one who goes straight into a Digital Realm Adventure! Whether it’s the result of Michael causing vortex portals indirectly and he has to go after his friends, or because of the ‘Open Portal Door’ option on his computer or console – Nathan’s the first one to jump in.”
Elaine piped up. “Been on a couple of Pokémon adventures in the past, and he’s even become champion in a few regions, such as: Sinnoh and Galar! He’s also recently decided to give another attempt at exploration in a few of Caitlyn’s books!”
Víctor stated, as he listed off Caitlyn’s books. “To be precise, Elaine – Legend of the Eeveelutions, where Nathan teams up with 7 others and his rival being Tyler. I believe at this point, Caitlyn is possibly in the middle of writing Nathan’s first gym battle… As for Sinnoh Adventures – the Rival Battle on Route 3. Mystical Realm Exploration might count as a region journey, same with Crossover Galaxy. Dreamlight Guardians to an extent and… Exploration of Lovely World. Oh! And that anime one she’s trying to plan out.”
Tyler asked. “And what starter do I have…? And who’s the rival in Sinnoh Adventures?”
Martyn admitted with a smile. “That would be me, the Minecraft Exploration Teacher. Nathan is essentially an honorary student for my class, as he knows how to navigate Minecraft Realms. Heh, I have a feeling he’ll have fun in my class tomorrow. My starter is Turtwig.”
Anna lit up, as if something clicked in her mind. “Same as Nate, he also once chose Turtwig during a Starter-Only challenge.”
Víctor recalled. “You had Eevee, Tyler.”
Tyler nodded. “Thank you.”
Elaine went on. “It’s nice to have a new trainer for him to challenge, you know? And it’s the same for me – the Champion of Galar! Held the unbeatable record since day 1! Even if I do wish to be beaten sometimes…”
Rachel nodded as she stated. “If I recall correctly, I have battled alongside him in a previous adventure in these stories, and he’s a very good trainer. Who took 8 attempts to beat Cynthia and 11 to beat Leon. On top of suffering against Raihan and Hop…”
“They must’ve been very hard opponents…”
Víctor shuddered as a memory returned to him. “16 for me… against General Chrissy in Miitopia… Yet, he almost swept the game without losing everyone once. Well, 7 team members fell once each, and he’s currently travelling through Miitopia again, according to Caitlyn.”
Rachel whispered. “Sorry…”
Roomie admitted. “Felix had told me a lot about Nathan and their adventures together. Yet, we’re yet to have a story where he walks into the Music Class. Maybe tomorrow will be the day it changes, and we can see how Nathan can use his Wii Music skills to good practice! But he did send me a few clips of him… attempting a few rhythm and dancing games. Making him sing? Not really…”
Squidward sighed. “And I guess this means you’ll be visited by BOTH Nathan AND Nate tomorrow, according to what Anthony has planned. Just hope that he is more refined than my neighbours, SPONGEBOB AND PATRICK… And yet, I have a feeling that Nathan would be good at piano, while Nate… What’s his preferred musical talent…?”
Anna responded. “Guitar, as well as Vocals.”
“Same as SPONGEBOB…”
“…The same?”
Víctor explained. “Goofy Goober Rock from The SpongeBob Movie. Vocals in Band Geeks.”
PJ Linguori crossed his arms as he stated. “After the success of my previous performances when it came to Drama Class, I think everyone should assist Nathan with whichever song he would like to attempt performing for us. He wasn’t there last time, so this time – he should DEFINITELY join. I’ve already sent the request to Nathan.”
RTGame added. “He enjoys gathering information and learning more about others. Yet, whenever he ends up in my class, he’ll rarely get asked to suddenly take on a quest. I do have a feeling that he’ll be sent on one tomorrow, don’t you agree, PJ?”
“Exploration and Item Retrieval – Is my guess.”
“On top of your touring quest, Anthony.”
Anthony nodded. “That is correct. And I have a feeling that Sebastian Boschman will also join tomorrow, right?”
Ian agreed. “Yes, Anthony. As Stephan is the one doing the deliveries and is at the post office most of the time, unless the businesses ask him to deliver parcels and letters.”
Sykkuno smiled. “Speaking of Nathan Bronsen – I saw his brother briefly before I rushed over here. As for which one – Daniel. He would be back at the apartments, waiting for when it’s time to see Levi at the gift store. And I have a feeling that I might be involved in the next Minecraft Exploration Adventure, Martyn…”
Martyn beamed. “And according to my notes, you do have a spare hour or so in the afternoon, so you’ll be joining us tomorrow, Sykkuno.”
“Thank you.”
Andrew lit up. “He’s yet to meet us in Miitopia. I’m in Neksdor as the Worried Explorer. I have been in the same class as Nathan before, and it’s the same for you, Harisu? Also, I have played the Pokémon games in the past, and I’ve also collected the trading cards.”
Harisu added. “Greenhorne as the Roaming Gourmet. That would be correct, as I do get asked to substitute classes at times. I’m one of Tyler’s best students in History, isn’t that right?”
Tyler nodded. “That is correct.”
Dark Matter Swordsman crossed his arms and smirked, his single blue eye shining as it peeked out from his black fringe. “I checked the schedule, and he’s in my sister’s class first. I will be telling Lucia the good news about the new musical student and how he’ll be joined by Nathan as well. Just got to hope Sylvie and Sayori don’t try to… break her. Finally, I noticed you have a ring on your finger, Anna… I wish you all the best for a happy marriage, from me on behalf of the Dark Matters.” He then faced Ken, switching topics as he didn’t want to accidentally reveal the fact that he himself was married. “One more thing, Ken – I think Nathan will do well in our class, if we let him have the sword power-up or a magic power-up if we’re going to do THAT kind of mixed battling.”
Anna smiled as she blushed. “Thank you, Swordsman… And I know that Nate will do well with Nathan tomorrow, but… do you think anyone else will join them?”
Anthony admitted, as Ian nodded. “Sebastian Boschman, the taller yet younger brother of Rachel Boschman, who can harness the power of cosplay attire. Kind of like Tsumugi, in a way… I might have deliberately invited him… As it would be nice to have one of Rachel Boschman’s siblings here…”
After that brief conversation, Ken got to his feet as he explained, being reminded of what he could encounter in his class. “Some time this week, Jeannette Annaletta will be challenging my class, or it’s arranged for next week, meaning that we will need as many students as possible to train and battle – as she said she wants to battle my class…”
Anna chuckled lightly at this as Aaron stood up and responded in determination. “Likely because Marcus will be in attendance. Hence, Jeannette is most likely to be the one my club battles tomorrow. She enjoys testing Marcus’ skill, you know? And if I come on that day, it’s not the first time Nathan has decided to practice his skills in the presence of my club. As they still do their 11-year-long tradition of practising them during random rounds of D&D. Ken, you were once a Dungeon Master, weren’t you? And so was Brooklyn. Anna, does this ring any bells?”
Anna lit up. “Nate! He occasionally did the role of Dungeon Master as well!”
“Heh, interesting indeed. So, therefore, Ken… Jeannette might also battle against Sebastian and others, while mostly targeting Marcus.”
Ken nodded at this, pleased at the result.
Arthur sighed. “Once again, I have a feeling that Colin will encounter a mission involving retrieving an item… And it’s not just during your class, Daniel… I am due to be tidying up the mansion soon, meaning… that SOMETHING might go awry…”
Anthony was confused at first before RTGame rose to his feet. “Ah, so what’s this mission – or aren’t you sure of it yet, Arthur?”
“I’m not sure where this item will end up… but I do know about this… Library Quest of yours, Daniel…”
“Ah… that one…”
Arthur then recomposed himself as he switched the topic. “My ‘challenge’ will be interesting for Colin, although… Dinasty will have to accompany him, Manuel…”
Víctor facepalmed as he sighed. “You clean on a Wednesday, don’t you…? And you’ll coincide with Shadow Stephanie’s journey, meaning…”
Shadow Stephanie admitted, remembering Nathan’s dislikes. “I’ll have to convince Natalya to let me take Nathan… despite him not liking horror or the supernatural or bad weather… I’ll talk to him tomorrow, anyway. And he can talk to his friends about it.”
Alice sighed. “That’s Arthur for you, even when he’s also in the middle of being bothered by Alfred deciding to run off to Brennenburg Castle. Anyway, Colin’s more in Kyle’s class than mine. But I do see him from time to time.”
Quackity smirked as he briefly glanced at Amai Odayaka. “I frequently serve in the Cafeteria along with the rest of the Hospitality Group while getting help from Amai. Even if it turns into Alfred wanting to create infinite amounts of burgers… Or cause mayhem by inciting a food war… I have everyone’s likes and dislikes and allergies on my phone…”
Amai Odayaka smiled as she asked. “And how are your Minecraft friends doing?”
Quackity leaned back as he answered. “All of them are in MrBeast’s group, as if they are secretly planning to craft a new challenge. Dream, Corpse, Karl and Sapnap – those guys. Speaking of which… Jimmy, would you like to explain your team and how you five have interacted with Nathan in the past…? And what do you all think of him?”
Jimmy explained. “As I said before, I have a few challenges and plans for him. I’m also close to Felix, so I can’t bother either of them too much. I am part of the committee of Valentine’s Day organisers, funnily enough, as well as other major events of the year. Dream’s the hardest opponent out of the quartet, consistently training a lot. But I think Jeannette might be a bit stronger than him. Corpse, he’s the mysterious one who might complicate the who Minecraft Rescue thing.”
Martyn stated. “To put it simply… Corpse obtains a strange shadow power when in dark caverns or haunted mansions.”
Ash Curry beamed brightly, writing something down. “Already, we have LORE! Ironic as… is Nathan Bronsen a lore expert by any chance?”
Martyn smirked. “Minecraft Lore Expert, basically.”
“YES!!!”
Andrew commented, as if he thought Corpse was a captured Pokémon. “Dark/Ghost Type.”
Harisu added. “Charismatic yet will use it to overwhelm you into defeat.”
Elizabeth facepalmed. “And that is why I don’t allow Jack and Mark to transform using their special gloves… Not dealing with Dark Types…”
Jimmy continued. “Sapnap is also a common contender for those with various Types. While Karl… he likes working at the burger store with Chandler but is always ready to be invited into a competition. Chandler’s known for his expressive cooking.”
Quackity chuckled, remembering something. “And the spices, whenever those two ask me to join them.”
Natsuki Aburaya folded her arms as she sternly spoke. “I just hope no one causes any issues and ruins Sebastian’s and Nate’s first impression of this place. As I’ll have a stern eye on those who approach him in class… Even in that Cafeteria… and whenever Nicole Soul OS is in attendance. On top of her… TSUMUGI SHIROGANE…”
Natsuki looked up as she spoke those words, fired up at the thought, as Tsumugi was known for being the Ultimate Cosplayer AND fangirl. June Moone attempted to ease Natsuki Aburaya’s fury by reassuring her with a piece of knowledge.
June Moone panicked. “Natsuki! You don’t have to go that far! You’re not his bodyguard, so it’ll be alright! And Nathan will be with them!”
“Sorry, I’m just so overwhelmed by Nicole Soul OS at the moment, along with the other delinquents… like CORPSE… And I know what Tsumugi is like when it comes to finding out about… well-known YouTubers being in our PRESENCE.”
Dark Matter Swordsman smiled. “At least Lucía will be calm around him, and I know it… As I’ll be speaking with her when I get home… I do have a strange feeling that he’s written songs for certain video games…”
Roomie typed something into his phone before nodding. “Yes. Mostly a certain horror one about working from midnight for 6 hours and defending yourself against robots. As well as two for Doki Doki Literature Club.”
Andrew rolled his eyes. “Joel… From experience, I’d rather spend that being a Light and Sound Display Technician. If you know, you know, Serena.”
Serena chuckled, getting the reference. “I get it, Andrew. And I’ve met and competed against Nathan before; it all started because I found out about his liking of Wii Sports. Hence why I got into it and… I soon competed against him alongside Elizabeth. Hence, why she lights up whenever Nathan and I join the class, isn’t that right?”
Elizabeth smiled. “And that is correct, even if I do have to deal with Jack and Mark’s antics, along with Ethan’s… We have a very interesting way of performing our athletics, you know? So, the more the merrier for our class!”
“And I would have to agree with you there!”
The two cousins laughed politely as Drawcia explained. “I mostly play background music based on the theme of our art, and when I do that, people tend to sing and draw based on that. Especially the singing part, if you know what I mean…” She then looked over at Andrew. “Am I correct, Jimson?”
Andrew’s eyes widened as he spoke. “Yes, whenever I was invited to a class to join in with an activity. Sometimes, I would play my own music when being invited to clean the classroom after one of your… painting experiments, Drawcia. Sometimes after my own class, sometimes not. Is my singing… loud, by any chance?”
“Not really.”
“Thanks.”
Tom Nook smiled. “Speaking of music, I have been exploring different genres other than my slow, relaxing ones that students call ‘melancholy’ – I usually play it during my Economics classes, yes? Heh, my son, Andrew, enjoys it as well. He has been trying to insert new genres into my playlists, you know? He knows only a little bit of piano, but I’m proud of him for trying it out. Hey, Roomie, do you think you could teach him one day?”
Roomie nodded. “That, I can have arranged immediately, Tom Nook.”
Tom Nook asked, looking over at Roscoe. “Roscoe, how have your Geography Classes been, and have you had Nathan in your classes or seen him on your library duties? I can recall him coming to mine at least once.”
Roscoe responded. “He’s one of the only sane ones in Geography, you know… Everyone else is… over the top. But I keep them in line with my ruler. As for the Library – constantly seen hanging around the books, especially the Minecraft Section.”
Sykkuno smiled. “I usually talk to him when he’s there, and he has a lot of interesting stories to share. Don’t you agree, Martyn?”
Martyn nodded. “Yes, I do, Sykkuno.”
Overhearing the conversation, June Moone sighed. “Music has always been a way for me to cope as well, you know? And it’s nice that we have another musician amongst us. Anthony, do you need assistance with inserting that new student file into the system? Once we learn more about him?”
Anthony responded. “I’ll add it to the email, so that all teachers must learn more about them during Nathan’s exploration tomorrow.”
“Thank you. And then we’ll come together to officiate it, even if you’ve already confirmed that from this day forth – that musician is now studying with us.”
Taking a sip of her wine, Lilly stood up as she announced. “Nathan Bronsen is free to explore my division as well as Anthony’s tomorrow. I can’t wait for him to show these new students around tomorrow. So, do not mark him as a wanderer, only as someone wanting to show new accomplices around. Víctor, may I please depart to begin my… wine hours?”
Víctor nodded. “Yes, you may.”
Lilly nodded at this before departing.
Víctor then asked. “Cadeon and Anna… what are your first impressions of this university? Now that you have gotten to know us. Ash Curry, this question is also for you. Shadow Stephanie, we shall be departing ourselves soon. Yet do you already have an idea of who you might want to join you on this quest?”
Shadow Stephanie beamed. “Possibly! And do keep me in mind, Arthur, when asking about who should go to retrieve your possession!”
Arthur nodded. “Got it, Dinasty.”
Anna lit up. “This place sounds like the perfect place for Nate to explore tomorrow! As well as Sebastian Boschman. I’m so excited for this that I can eat THREE BOWLS OF RICE! Sorry if I just used a quote from an anime.”
Ash Curry continued. “I’m excited for my new role as the Science Teacher at this University! Let the theories begin, my friends!”
Cadeon smiled as he looked over at Tyler. “Heh, and I can’t wait to be Anthony’s deputy AND a new rival. Even though technically, Jimmy’s team are the more competitive kind of rivals, while we’re the friendly ones, right?”
Tyler agreed. “That’s correct. Although… I don’t think anyone here has been to Ashton Coast recently, so I can’t really ask… But, I have noticed something different about Nicholas…”
“Like…? Did he do the thing that I don’t tend to do, which is… grow a bit of… facial hair or something?”
“Yes. And just from here, I can tell why you don’t… You would look like Zeke Yeager otherwise. Nathan hasn’t grown any hints of a beard for a while… Unless he has, and we don’t know it yet.”
Anthony wondered. “Even though it’s a public holiday… I wonder how Levi Bronsen is doing… and if Daniel Bronsen is on his way there…”
Sykkuno lit up. “I saw Daniel Bronsen briefly earlier, if it helps…”
Ian explained. “Levi’s the one at the gift store, he frequently accepts any spare Pokémon Cards that anyone has and likes to gift new residents items based on what he knows of them. And I’m sure that Levi and Daniel will get Nathan to deliver something on their behalf.”
As if something popped into mind, Anna exclaimed. “I must go and wait at the apartments. May I please head off… now?”
Anthony looked at the time before nodding. “Yes, you may. And as for the rest of you, you are all dismissed as it’s nearly lunch time anyway.”
And as the clocks headed towards midday, that was when Anna Prosser rushed out the door first, followed by the rest of the faculty. She knew that Dan Bronsen would be headed for Levi’s gift store, hence why she ran towards the apartments to wait with Nate for this surprise from someone.
