   Summary

   Amid this turmoil, a quiet family arrives, an enigmatic mother, father, and their children. When Lin encounters the mother, a haunting familiarity unsettles her. Lin and Tenzin wrestle with the idea of the unthinkable; as buried truths begin to surface, political unrest, personal secrets, and ancient legacies collide, the future of Republic City, and the meaning of balance itself, hangs by a thread.
