Izuku repeats himself, his tone firm but full of pride. “You should go to UA.”
“Oh…” Izumi’s words fall off into an awkward, nervous laugh. “...Why?” Her question is simple and straightforward, as if she truly doesn’t know why she would go there.
Izuku sighs, sensing his daughter’s uncertainty. “Because you’re smart, and resourceful, and kind. And you’ve always been those things.” He pauses, his expression turning a bit more serious. “You deserve to be a hero, Izumi. You just need a chance. UA can give you that chance.”
“A hero…?” Izumi mumbles, her eyes widening further. “Dad, I…don’t even have a quirk.”
Izuku smiles. “You do now. Well, you could now.”
