The masked man turned to him, stepping forward with leisurely cruelty.
"Ohh, what do we have here?" His voice was like gravel scraping glass. "The great healer’s runt. You've got your Inko’s eyes, boy. No wonder she disappeared from Caelumbra—hiding something precious." He grinned, revealing jagged yellow teeth. "Quite noble, wasn't she?"
"W-who are you?" Izuku's voice cracked. "How do you know my mom?"
The masked man stepped closer.
Izuku's legs trembled. His chest heaved. Every instinct screamed at him to run.
The man raised his other hand, claws gleaming, poised to strike—
BOOM!
A fiery explosion slammed into the masked man, sending him flying backward and releasing Izuku, who collapsed to the ground, coughing violently.
"Hey, dipshit," a harsh, gravelly voice barked from the shadows. "You picked the wrong night to piss me off."

Izuku sighs, sensing his daughter’s uncertainty. “Because you’re smart, and resourceful, and kind. And you’ve always been those things.” He pauses, his expression turning a bit more serious. “You deserve to be a hero, Izumi. You just need a chance. UA can give you that chance.”
“A hero…?” Izumi mumbles, her eyes widening further. “Dad, I…don’t even have a quirk.”
Izuku smiles. “You do now. Well, you could now.”

So Izuku doesn't listen, instead, he meets a different hero instead.

This is a fanfiction of the My Hero Academia story with original characters. The main character is Sekai, who believes she is quirkless like Midoriya, whom she hates. After Sekai heard this beauty say words that resonated with her, she decided to try to be a hero in her last moments for the one person she deemed worthy. However, her suicide didn’t go as planned, and the girl who was being harassed and having trouble using her quirk rushed in and saved her with a kiss. Suddenly able to use her quirk and ‘fade into the background’ as a drawing, pulling Sekai into the drawing with her. Apparently, the beauty can’t use her quirk if she is creeped out, but she could when Sekai was there. Because of this, she asked Sekai to be her sidekick. Sekai’s life turned completely around, and she started dating her hero, Ayaka. Not long after becoming her sidekick, she realized that she had an amazing (often awkward) quirk, but due to the difficult life she was living, she could never manifest it before. Quirk education changes drastically because of these two girls... for both heroes and villains.

Iniko Maki was never one for close friends. Not because she didn't want to be, no. But because she was detested by anyone that wasn't her Mom or Dad. All because of her Quirk - that dumb Glitch Quirk she hated, but knew she had to control if she wanted to save others; become a Pro Hero.
Getting accepted into the top hero school in Japan seemed like an impossible task, one that her peers judged her for wanting to achieve. But then it happened. That's when she knew she had to cling to the opportunity. Prove to everyone, to herself, that she wasn't the villain they said she was.
The path to heroism was intimidating, and after meeting the entirety of Class 1-A, she wasn't able to tell if it'd get easier or not. Only time would tell, and the school year awaited her.
