The way he smiled was disarming. Not that Elissa had spent time with Grey Wardens, but she knew enough soldiers, and this young man with his playful grin and big brown eyes didn't strike her as a hardened warrior. He was tall, though, and so very broad under his armour.
Elissa Cousland never wanted to be queen. With the murder of her family, and little choice but to follow the Grey Warden who saved her life, Elissa finds herself one of the last two wardens in Ferelden. All they have to do is uncover a treasonous conspiracy, restore order to the throne, and stop the blight...all of which seems far easier than denying her growing feelings for bastard prince of Ferelden who won't stop smiling at her.
