In another timeline, the mysteries of the SS Cargot remain veiled in shadow: as do the deaths of the victims involved.
Newly appointed head detective Cheddar Cheese, along with a no-longer-rookie Macaroni, are sent an envelope addressed only to them: An invitation to the next cruise departure, and a familiar detective badge that was thought to be long gone with its owner.
Determined to uncover the truth, the duo set out as soon as they can.. But find that the threads tying this case together are wound much tighter than they thought.
And, Macaroni discovers he’s still very much afraid of ghosts.
