Summary
Yoshiki had been in love with his childhood best friend, Hikaru, since high school. But his clearly unrequited love causes an inevitable rift between them over the years. A single bond keeps Yoshiki connected to the village of his childhood: ‘Hikaru’, his best friend's younger brother, for whom the alpha feels responsible and strangely possessive.
‘Hikaru’ always grew up in the shadow of his older brother. The omega was used to being the second choice behind his older brother, who was more loved and respected by his family and the people of the village. In love with Yoshiki since he first met him, ‘Hikaru’ accepts the painful friendship that the alpha cultivates with him as the only piece of the boy he can have for himself.
The paths of the heart can be confusing, and the immaturity of youth can blind you to what you really should see.
