Summary
“Sorry, just wondering how this is my life. Talking about D&D to Steve Harrington on a dinner date in my trailer.”
Eddie stares at Steve while he continues eating, the thought just left hanging in the air until he swallows and says, "I know I didn't phrase it as such, but that was actually a question."
"Oh."
Steve hesitates. He pours himself some more wine to stall and wonders how to say this without sounding like an asshole. “So… Robin made this joke."
-
Steve’s not stupid, he knows Robin had said it as a joke, but the words, “There’s always Eddie” had passed her lips and Steve can’t stop thinking about it. In another world Eddie would have been perfect for Steve. You know. If Steve was into dudes, obviously. -

Summary
“Oh,” Steve says. Then again, “oh,” a little quieter. His expression changes; from confusion to something pained almost. “Mr Munson, I don’t…” he takes a deep breath, his voice a little shaky as he continues. “I don’t think he…I don’t think he likes me like that.”
He doesn’t say “it’s not like that.” Neither does he say “I’m not like that.”
That’s the first thing Wayne notices.

Summary
"Steve", she says and it sounds almost shockingly similar to when she said his name after he had said "but Tammy Thompson's a girl". Like she's almost begging him to use his brain. And Steve is. Using his brain.
He's just scared.
So goddamn scared.
"It's not Eddie you're jealous of", she says and there is it, that's it, that's the truth.
The scary but undeniable truth.
Of course it's not Eddie he's jealous of.
Or: Eddie and Steve move to NYC together and when Eddie starts hooking up with guys Steve feels weird about it. It takes some revelations and even more phone calls with Robin to understand it’s jealousy

Summary
Eddie is in New York with both an explicit agenda and a hidden one. Explicitly, he is here to plan with Will for their upcoming Triumphant Return to California, to visit Jonathan and Argyle and catch up with some of Eddie’s friends from his own California years of soaking up the sun and trying desperately to not think about…certain people.
His hidden agenda is, granted, his long-term hidden agenda with Will: try to help him get over, get past, get good with the Mike Wheeler situation.
Neither agenda goes exactly according to plan.Series

Summary
“Alright gang, don’t forget to have reports on classical literature that has been turned into film submitted by the end of the day tomorrow! I will be grading them during my office hours on Friday! I have a hot date this weekend and I will not be missing it because you hooligans didn’t get your work done on time! Got it?”
A chorus of wolf whistles and peals of laughter sound out over the zipping of book bags and students flooding the halls.
His front-row class clown, Lucas, cheers, “Ow ow! Get some Mr. H! Who’s the lucky lady?”
Steve props up against the front of his desk with his arms crossed over his chest. “My partner finally has a Saturday night off so we made plans.”
Stopping on his way out of the room, resident boy genius Dustin spins on his heel. “Wait wait wait. You’re like, dating dating someone?!” He shrieks.
The teacher huffs out a laugh, these kids are not very observant. “Uh, I’m engaged actually.”
Or, the one where Steve thinks his students can guess who he is engaged to.Rockstar Eddie Munson was never on their radar.

Summary
"Shake. Release. Roll.
Nineteen.
'Ugh. Come on!' Steve yells with his head thrown back. 'I don’t even care anymore I just want to roll a twenty once!'
'Well a nineteen is still fair game, Harrington. Take your pick. I might even raise the bar for a twenty if you think you can handle it.' Eddie says, voice pitched low. Steve is only dazed for half a second, thank you very much."Eddie teaches Steve all about D&D dice. What they're for, and how they're used. He challenges Steve to roll anything higher than a 15 for a reward of his choice.
Or: Steve rolls a Nat 20 and subsequently gets his shit rocked for it.

Summary
Eddie knows tarot.
One day post saving the world he and Steve are just messing around and Steve asks him to do a soulmate reading for him.
Eddie shuffles and pulls his cards and blue screens when they describe himself in vivid detail.
He has to make something up on the fly, is talking some shit about the king of cups’ masculine energy actually referring to Steve (it doesn’t- he’s represented by the influence and power of the magician) and lying out of his ass about the true meanings of the reversed knight of swords and the tower.
Fast forward to Robin who doesn’t fully know tarot but is adjacent enough to know that the cards Steve is talking about are absolutely not representative of what he thinks they are. Last time she checked, his reading would not have been about Steve meeting a nice girl at the farmer’s market.
More like a loud, abrasive boy who thinks fast and talks faster and was nearly a victim of his own decisions in a time of chaos and destruction.
But that’s neither here nor there, and robin is keeping her mouth shut.

Summary
Eddie always said Corroded Coffin was a band that was ‘big enough’—and Steve generally agreed. They were big enough that the core of their fanbase had evolved from late-80s metalheads to include the vaguely obsessive diehards of the internet era who picked apart liner notes like they held the answers to god and the universe and everything, but they still never had to dodge the paps outside their house. It was weird, but the band was fucking weird, and Steve-and-Eddie were likewise pretty goddamn weird, so it mostly worked out fine.
Until the fans started questioning the stupidly out-of-place performance credit listed on track fucking nine once Studio Album Seven finally got its release date.
- - -
Or: it is perhaps deeply unfortunate that, on the album that Corroded Coffin agrees to release a limited edition box set of custom-cast fucking dildos for, Steve Harrington is unwittingly listed as a contributing musician.
Or else: maybe it’s not unfortunate.
At all.
