"I pulled your file you know," Fury finally spoke eyes focused on the frost-covered glass.
Tony kept his grin under wraps, he had expected nothing less of the Director, frankly, he was surprised it had taken him this long to bring it up.
"Wasn't easy, had to call in a lot of favours Captain Stark," he continued.
Tony arched an eyebrow, his grin managing to break through, “Learn anything interesting?”
Fury’s expression turned sour, “I know a doctored service record when I see one.”
He chuckled softly, but it was empty and hollow, Fury was right. His service record didn't exist anywhere in its entirety, he'd done a lot of things, been a lot of places….but that was neither here nor there.
“As nice as this heart to heart is Nick, is there a point here?”
The Director glowered at him, “Anyone tell you, you have shit people skills?”
“Frequently,” Tony replied cheerily.
"Smartass, in all your non-existent days in special ops you ever hear about a ghost called the Winter Soldier?"

Laura laughs, loud and echoing in the empty restaurant.
"Hot firemen can make a girl do crazy things," she agrees, nodding towards her brother's name on the menu. "Derek won't let me date anyone from his company, but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate the eye candy."
"Send them my way," Stiles suggests, finally loading up a forkful of pie. "Apparently I'm incompetent enough that I need to be babysat at all times, because it would be cheaper than dispatching a truck every time I try to use a kitchen appliance."

Harry needed to be somewhere safe this summer. He had watched Cedric die. Watched Voldemort return. Been tortured. Seen his dead parent return while he duelled the man who murdered his parents. All during a tournament he was forced into and consequently vilified for by his peers and Britain’s wizarding world.
Harry needed to be somewhere where he could be sad and angry and scared and not alone and safe.
Where was safer than Hogwarts?
