Summary
The original Solemn Graces pilot story that explored Grace and Gallo meeting in a graveyard for a ritualistic murder. There are two main versions of this story: the first original featured them murdering a child who wanted to die; the second rewrote that idea into a version where they murder the boy's parent instead, as a different means of freeing them.
Both are presented here, in different chapters (as well as both versions of the second iteration, where the victim's name changes between versions). Consider them part of the Pilot Universe; where early scraps and the first storylines that would become what we know today began to form.

In a graveyard abandoned by time, Grace and Liliana connect with each other one last time before the fairy is sent off back to the circus.
There is smut. There are lesbians. There is a graveyard. What else should there ever be in a fic?

Summary
One of the last pilot stories, written in 2016, this features all the bits of modern canon right when it began existing: Grace, Gallo, Common Grounds as a cemetery and the coffee shop Gallo runs there, Grace's radio show The Witching Hour, and their perfectly fluffy asexual relationship.
Just a fun, nice little vignette where Grace shows up at the coffee shop in the middle of the night while Gallo is cleaning, and tries one of his cupcakes he'll be baking for the next few days. It's red velvet with chocolate frosting and fudge filling baked inside.
My personal favorite of the pilots and non-canon bits. It's just adorable. And very cozy. Set officially in Grimstead at some vague middle point during Solemn Graces not in the Pilot Universe, so all the world's creepiest weirdness is on full surroundings for Grace and Gallo to toy with.

Pretty much basically embodies the Krampus craze of like 2017-era pop culture, which is around when I first started penning this one.

Summary
Victoria puts on a dinner show for her friends in Grimstead. Those who manage to show up are...certainly there.
I first wrote this for Halloween in 2021, along with two other stories set in Grimstead, when the inspiration for stories not aligned with the central timeline struck me. But they were all unfinished, and a lot of things happened in life between then and now, including some of the notes for those stories - and this one - being ripped apart. But now I'm piecing them back together, so I thought I'd have a go and try and finish this one, since I actually kind of liked it.

Summary
A piece that uses Gallo's Common Grounds Graveyard Café from Solemn Graces as a metaphor for sadness and homesickness when your own home was never safe.
Thus, the Café for Dead Boys is born - a place between places, where the lost and forlorn hang out when the doors are closed and the lights are replaced by candles and fairies trapped in jars.
The Ghostly Gravedigger reigns as its host, and the Lost Boys carry on until it's time to go back.

Summary
"Psychic" talk show host Hugo Lockhart is called back home to his family's house in Kineford after his father tells him his mother is dying. Reunions between family ensue, and Hugo confronts feelings from his past he long ago ran away from, while his father tries to teach him what life as an automaton is all about.
Later on, Grace Morgan arrives, and they begin investigating the "death" of Tristan Grimshaw, the corruption of Wade Mayfield by the demon in the hill, the rail line being built through the Hinterlands, the mystery of the horses at the Ryder Preserve, and much more.
Hugo tries desperately to avoid becoming an automaton too, and unfortunately life fails him, despite everyone's best efforts.

I'm not sure if this will ever show up in a story itself, so I'm putting it separate for now, because it hurts me in dark places and maybe I want to share the horrible heart-wrenching.
Or maybe it's just over-dramatic and weird. I'm used to that by now.

- The origins of Gallo Belgrave, and the comatose patient who became his mother, in "The Birth Of Gallo Belgrave".
- The relationship between Dorian Belgrave and Galen Belmont that ends with a kiss — or does it? — in "Galen's Painting".
