Summary
"What you are scares you?" His thumb traces the edge of Blade's cheekbone, smearing blood on his pale skin.
Scare him? He has never been less afraid of anything than he is of himself. Beasts are easy to tame with a firm hand. "It should scare you."
"But it doesn't," Sunday whispers. "You are not what you were turned into."
"I’m not anything."
Sunday leans in, close enough that their breaths tangle. "Then let me make you something again."
When a self-made Messiah finds a perfect, broken thing to fix, it’s only a matter of time before mercy starts to rot into indulgence.

Summary
