Summary
One of the definitions of 'sciamachy' is to fight with shadows... and Q is about to go to the place where shadows are housed and used by the government.
In today's world, the Sybil System is everyone's conscience: by looking at data (everything from Facebook posts to security cameras) this AI can determine what people are criminals before they can do wrong. Some criminals, though, are dangerous enough to outrun her for a time - those criminals, when caught, are put to use instead of put down. After all, what better way to hunt down monsters than with the better monsters?
Enter Q. He's not dangerous - at least to the common eye - and he's perfect for the job of Quartermaster for all of these 'better monsters.' But he's got an agenda, and he's not the only one...
Or: the dark!AU crossover fic that nobody asked for, in which the Sybil System has labeled everyone 'good' and 'bad,' and you don't know if you can trust anyone. And it might be the so-called 'good' ones that you have to watch the most...

Demons are territorial, possessive, and this one also has some impressive technological skills. Many people in MI6 are against it. A demon for a Quartermaster?? Those opposed have one hope: James Bond. 007 has killed demons before - even a Duke of Hell. And now he's coming home...
No one is sure what will happen, but one thing is for sure: MI6 is about to become a hellishly interesting place...

Summary
Bond had... habits. He never minded leaning right up to Q's ear when they talked, had a habit of touching Q's arm or back to lead him through a crowd, and seemed more than happy to share his food when all of the MI6 crew went out to eat and relax. All of these habits do things to Q. Two problems:
Q is asexual.
And Bond does this with everyone.
It isn't until an unexpected event at a bar that things come to a head, and Bond finds out that his Quartermaster has actually been flirting with him for just about forever. -

Summary
Q learned quite quickly that he wasn't like other people - that he lived and died like everyone else, but remembered every lifetime before like pages in a never-ending book. He also learned quite quickly what people did with other people who were different. The one thing that made Q's many lives bearable, though, was the one soul that returned in every lifetime: James.
There was only one problem.
James returned, time and again, just like Q did. Same blue eyes, same golden hair, same devasating smile and penchant for trouble. But James never remembered a bit of it - each life for him was his first life, and he therefore had no idea why Q would always trust him like a polestar, and grieve for him like Pompeii.
