Summary
Amber Freeman, born to two cannibals, kills her parents and escapes the mountains. Found by hikers, she passes as an ordinary child and bounces through orphanages until age ten, when she’s adopted by film director Roman Bridger, who recognizes and helps her manage her cannibalistic urges.
They move to Woodsboro, where Amber attends school, makes friends, and keeps her darker instincts largely in check. She later discovers Ghostface and becomes the Cannibal Ghostface, drawing attention from the Legacy Survivors.
Then she meets Tara Carpenter—short, sweet, and irresistible—who awakens Amber’s instincts and her first experience of love. Amber now struggles to balance her hunger with her feelings for Tara, hoping she might not have to hide who she truly is.

This is basically their journey together.

Amber Freeman is walking free, she survived her own Ghostface murder's and with the help of a reluctant Tara, and an oddly very helpful Sam. She is in New York at the beginning of Scream 6. Tara wont speak to her after their trust was broken so now she lives with Sam and her stupid bubbly roommate Quinn, counting down the seconds before she can try to prove to Tara she isn't the monster she thinks she is. To bad Tara lives on campus a few blocks down with the Meeks-Martin Twins.
When the Ghostface murder's start back up, seemingly going after everyone who was involved in the past. Who better to have on your team then someone who truly understands what its like behind the mask? Maybe this was the in she had been waiting for.

Summary
To the whole world, Billy Loomis and Stu Macher were the psychos behind the Woodsboro Massacre of 1996. The boys were crazy, bloodthirsty, and ultimately killed by survivors and heroes Sidney Prescott and Tatum Riley.
What the world didn’t know is that Sidney and Tatum were really the ones behind the killings. They were the Ghostfaces of ‘96, their plan to make Billy and Stu pay for what they’d done to Sidney’s mother. And they’d gotten away with it all, until 2022, when Tara Carpenter and Amber Freeman showed up. Tara and Amber had done their research: found inconsistencies in evidence, blips in the timeline, and cornered Sidney and Tatum with the knowledge of their past. But the girls didn’t use it as blackmail…they wanted Sidney and Tatum to teach them everything they know about being Ghostfaces.
From there, Tara and Amber spiral between bloodlust and broken truths, with Sidney and Tatum overseeing it all.

By their senior year, they were all like a nice little family, spending most of their time after school and on weekends with each other. It was really sweet, but of course with Ethan's luck... That sweetness fades away into something mixed with betrayal and pain.
