In any timeline, Violet Hawke would always come to the Free Marches, settle in, and make the best of things as Hawke does—running around with the likes of Varric, listening to Aveline berate her life choices, and somehow getting tangled into the unique brand of mess that can only be described as the chaos of Kirkwall. It is inevitable as Hawke is pulled by fate, destiny, and the need to save her friends by any means necessary—even from themselves. So what is she to do as she rises in political power and influence in the city when she sees her fellow mages are suffering? And what more when the only way she can think of to save Anders is through the false pretenses of a fake marriage?

Summary
For a while, Hawke assumed he was only interested in men, but he's come to realize that it's a bit more complicated than that. He's never wanted anyone the way he wants Anders, and the only time he ever came close was with his best friend when he was a teenager. The emotional aspect that sex has for him can be too much at times, but he fears that Anders will not understand, so he devises a plan to show his partner just how loved and wanted he really is.

Desperate fleeing men do terrible things, these men were no different as in their bid to get away from the Dark-Spawn they fell on each other. “Loose your magic sister.” Carver had asked and she did.
