Summary
When Chara Dreemurr lay dying in the Hall of Judgement, all they could think about was seeing Rei again, wrapping their arms around their fluffy brother, and telling him just how sorry they were that they couldn't protect him, that they couldn't protect them all, from their twisted reflection.
What they didn't expect after their eyes shut was for them to open again in an unfamiliar room inside something called a hospital with their wounds cleaned and tended to before being taken into the care of a doppelganger of their mother and what seemed to be a second reflection, named Kris.
What they expected even less was to find themselves part of a prophecy that foretold the world's destruction and how it would be saved by Four Heroes: two humans, one a noble warrior, strange and mischievous yet just and brave, the other, a devilish rogue from parts known yet unknown, a monster, brash and bold, and a lonely prince from the dark.
But, what Chara didn't expect least of all, was them and Kris growing closer over the course of their adventures... and coming to see each other not merely as reflections in some unseen mirror, but as something more, something deeper, something intimate.

Summary
Sans can dodge the attacks of the thing wearing human's skin, but he couldn't do it forever. His stamina wasn't infinite.
Chara is able to exist and have consciousness despite their death, but they were invisible for everyone. They couldn't do anything.
Yet, despite the differences between Sans and Chara, their goal was the same: stop the endless Genocide Time Loop.
Or: Sans and Chara make a deal and maybe bond as they try to save the Underground.

After the monsters were led out of the Underground and made contact with human governments, but before the general public was informed, the adopted humans of the king and queen of the monsters were sent their recruitment letters to Hope’s Peak Academy.
The Ultimate Ambassador, Frisk Dreemurr, and the Ultimate Royal Guard, Chara Dreemurr, were invited to the elite school. Asriel Dreemurr stayed home.
Thus, when the eighteen students of Hope’s Peak’s 78th class find themselves locked away in the school, two of the three Dreemurr children are likewise locked into an unwanted adventure of hope and despair. How will they shape it?
