I know almost nothing about this show except what EHTB5 has written, she and I have watched a few episodes over the years but it's been a while. Any of the technical stuff will not be accurate.
Also Kayo and Ridley are together in a polycule with John because I say so and I think it's funny. But like Ridley is with Kayo and John. John and Kayo are not together. They live together tho it's cute shit. -

Summary
Logan Croft was certain that the trappings of romance were wholly unnecessary for the social compatibility experiment known as dating. To prove it to his friends, Roman and Remus Kingsford, he agrees to ask out the next person to come through the doors to the courtyard from the cafeteria... who just so happens to be the emo skater king of Sanders High School, Virgil Delaney.
Virgil is just trying to get through his last year of high school while working to afford a shitty apartment and food to take care of his little brother Thomas. He doesn't have the time or energy for a relationship, despite his best friend Patton Morales worrying that he'll be lonely now that Patton is dating their other friend Janus Atea. To ease Patton's worries, Virgil promises to agree to a date with the next person who "works up the courage to ask for a date, but not a hookup".

Virgil took a sip of his coffee, watching idly as the Duke dodged Prince's fist and fired back a a punch of his own, straight into the Prince's face. The panes of the shop windows rattled. “I hate them,” he mumbled to the cup. “This is the worst morning.”
“You’re supposed to make ramen yourself!” an explosion boomed. “There's more to it than boiled water!”

Hours: one AM to two PM(Somewhere on the Border between two warring superpowered factions, there's a tiny cafe run by a sole resigned barista who's getting really sick of the continued tomfoolery.)
