Peridot lost everything. She was just going to use the breaking point she had made to shatter herself, but of course the others had to misunderstand and think she was going to shatter someone else.
Broken by Garnets words of expulsion from the crystal gems, she doesn't bother correcting them and runs away, with no intent of coming back. Ever.
But when a strange Emerald finds her in woods, and offers her a opportunity that could give her a home again, she accepts despite her pain.
Too bad she gets way more than she bargained for.

The future was finally looking brighter and everyone was happy and thriving! Living life and learning new things and growing.
There is a certain young boy named Steven Universe, who grew up having to fix everything and everyone’s problems after his mother left everything she ever done and made behind.
He has yet to find his happy ending.After the events of change your mind when white diamond pulled Steven’s gem out of his stomach he is now able to communicate and “unfuse” with his gem half, he calls him Pink.
Years later Steven hasn’t told anyone about his new “ability” and he wants it to stay that way.
But basically this story is just about Steven running away from his problems and not wanting to let anyone in, but that’s gonna come to an end very very soon. ;)

well, it was at first.
Peridot had been hurt before. Homeworld had messed up practices and punishments, and undoubtedly Peridot got the worst of it. But she was fine, she had friends who cared about her. When her mental health starts to take a dive, nobody notices except for Lapis and Bismuth. Everyone is focused on Steven, and her feelings don't matter.
